This guy only got as far as he did because it was a weak year. IMO, he doesn’t have a great voice – and lack any stage personality what so ever.
TV theme week NEEDS TO HAPPEN
Absolutely agree. TV theme week would be awesome. Would love for Aaron to do Greatest American Hero, Lee to do Baba O’Reilly from CSI NY, Casey to do the theme from the MTM show, Mike to do Shaft or the Barretta theme [Keep your eye on the sparrow], Siobhan to go Goth and do the Addams Family, and Crystal to do the theme from Hawaii 50 [there are no words].
I kind of have to agree with most of the posters here. I was surprised that I liked Idolatry with Katie but with Andrew, it was a little awkward. The whole “I had fun” therefore, it was cool-bit is so old! I agree with the commenter that said if you’re having fun about a song about war, then you’re not doing it right.
The only enjoyable thing about this interview (besides Slezak of course) is the Family Matters theme song at the end, I got chills.
What I understood was that he doesn’t wanna regret anything he did! He doesn’t wanna be a bitter person…my opinion. What does it matter now hmmm?
He never said all his AI performance are great.. He just said that he did his best and he has fun doing it…. And he will never regret any of it because he enjoyed and give all he can for his fans.
Andrew we love you.I see all your youtube videos. And it show’s how cool and nice you are.. All your fan’s in Philippines and UK are waiting for your album..
Hmmmm, he is rather clueless, isn’t he?
heres the thing andrew has great tone but young at this game..besides that american idol is a bunch of bubblegum factories who take them selfs way too seriously no rel musican takes this show seriously no eric claptons or hendrix springsteens and before you blast away they fill stadiums and idols fill coffee houses watch andrew will do way better than all you expect with tone he has he made no excuses and stands by his performances thats it roll out
Delusional.
ANDREW, I will miss you. You were awesome. And I knew their criticisms of you on your first 2 songs in the top 24 was the reason for your going astray. After that you started losing yourself but you did find your way back. Just wish you woulda ignored them and kept singing like you did early on.
he had his moments he actually was better than tim or mike he should have finished 5th
He could have been the idol, if he just stuck to his acoustic feel and stayed true to himself instead of listening to judges or mentors (miley, please, she told him to lose the guitar). If you look back and see his performances every single time the judges compared it to straight up. It wasn’t going to change no matter what he did, the judges had their mind made up, crystal was it. I can’t wait for his album, hurry andrew……….
Andrew Garcia was amazing the genres just weren’t with his type of music
