I remember reading a book about the French resistance in WWII, and they mentioned at one point that during interrigations the women usually held up under torture longer than the men.

Nope. Men make more money. Fact. Studies also show they have higher pain tolerance because they interpret pain more logiclly

i man try to push a baby or babies threw his penis.i have my first birth with my daughter all natrual with no drugs labored for 26 hours and pushed one hour straight .she weighed 7 pound three once 22 inches long then.2 year latter twins boys 7 pounds each.then twins girls 11 months latter .my husband passed five kidney stones natrually he said extremly painfull.he said that was his male childbirth moment,i coached him threw the pain he keep the kidney stones in jar and name him after our kids.jada,brett,beau.april,georgia.he told me thank god you have babies in the family.i amalso expecting our sixth child a boy name ryder at any day now.
this makes me laugh at everybody saying “see women handle pain better!” First off mythbusters is not where you should be getting your facts. Second it varies among people but a few studies suggest that men handle pain better. There is a reason that historically men are the ones doing dangerous and difficult jobs. Also there is a reason martial artists are usually males, that involves a lot of pain. Also with as much as American women scream during labor they cant use that as an example of handling pain. lol Japanese women laugh at Americans for that, Japanese women frown upon screaming like that.

I think women are made to handle pain differently than men, but that’s something that can’t be proven. And I think that’s because women give childbirth. And that would be a nerve thing that got adjusted do to evolution. Nature could have adjusted women for the reason of childbirth. I’ve heard plenty of women say that they would rather give birth again before having another toothache. And I will say that a toothache is the worse pain I have felt. Shots on the palm of my hand or on the bottom of my feet is next for me. The shots was worse than the actual break of the bones… I have NEVER cried in pain until the toothache though. That is one pain that keeps me from doing anything! I can work thru and with any other pain. And keep me away from shots that have to go on the bottom of my feet or the palm of my hands…

Women are more able to get piercings than men, that’s why they don’t balk at piercing their tongue as much as guys do.
Actually, piercing studios have always said it’s women who scream. It’s because studies prove men have higher tolerance for pain due to GIRK2 levels and because they interpret pain logically vs emotionally.
Throw a shovel and hardhat and woman’s and way and tell them to work 6 days a week, 12 hour days. They’ll be sprinting back to that home with pigtails and a full “stomach” after a week. And seriously can you acutally test men that ACTUALLY do physical labor for a living. Men that don’t work in the sun don’t build pain tolerance and I bet some of these Women have had children, so they can tolerate pain much better then these White mechanics that don’t do real work.
I asked my dentist whether men or women handled root canal better and he said they were about the same. You can’t talk about childbirth anyway because men don’t have babies, it’s not a logical comparison. You have to compare things that they both do. Women scream during childbirth which is the definition of not handling pain.
