Note to Adrian Grenier and Hayden Panettiere: a cautionary tale for celebrity hair

Felicity-hair-cut-KeriIf everyone was busy breaking up the last few weeks, this week, it seems celebrities have turned to a less traumatic pastime: Everyone’s been showing off their newly-chopped hair. And by “everyone,” I mean Entourage‘s Adrian Grenier and Heroes‘ Hayden Panettiere. A wise man once said that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. So I would urge those who are also considering a drastic new ‘do to remember the original cautionary tale of a star who lost her locks and paid a price for it. One word: Felicity.

Hayden Panettiere’s cut makes her face look fat.

I think Hayden looks gorgeous with the shorter ‘do. Loving it!

Short hair looks bad on virtually every woman

      • Bespoke

Really? Have you seen “every woman” with short hair? I think not. Plenty of women look just as good or better with short hair. Halle Berry, Annie Lennox, Mia Farrow. It very much depends on the cut and style. And conversely, there are men who look a lot better with long hair. Rock stars are a pretty good example.

her face is fat. She’s ugly and a bad actress to boot

      • fatass

        slut

LOL! I still remember this like it was yesterday. My friends and I kept saying, “She looks like a Q-tip!”

When it comes to men, short hair is always better. And I’m pretty sure Adrian Grenier is at least partially male, so…

    • Bespoke

Not always better. There are guys that really benefit from having long hair, Adrian being one of them.

  • Zach

Adrian Grenier is more unrecognizable now–plain and old. Hayden looks ok, a little more mature, sophisticated.

    • Zach

eh, saw another Hayden photo…not good, not good. FAIL, both of them.

I think she looks awful and he looks great

I don’t understand how people are saying Adrian doesn’t look as good with short hair…he looks like a knockout! His eyes pop so much more withought that mop of his head (although I always thought he was gorgeous).

i like that adrian got a haircut, but i wish it wasn’t so short. actually, he should have just gotten the same cut Felicity got.

  • Silv

Adrian Grenier – sooo much better. When you’re that hirsute, the crop was necessary.

Hayden – Well, time will tell if she can rock the style. I’m thinking she can make it trendy. Besides, it’ll probably grow back healthier now.

It just seems to me that once a celebrity, you don’t own your hair anymore, though it makes for great EW articles that we love to read about. GIVE ME MORE!

  • Mavis

It doesn’t matter if Hayden cuts her hair. Heroes will put her in a horrible wig anyway! But then again maybe the Felicity curse will work and NBC will finally put Heroes out of its misery.

  • pastafarian

Adrian Grenier looks like a John Stamos knockoff.

  • anonymous

I actually though Keri Russell looked better than most women with short hair.

Hayden’s new hair doesn’t really suit her but Adrian looks better with his new hair cut.

  • Lady Pirate

Let’s remember they did this for charity, which EW failed to mention. So knock it if you will, but the intent seems at least partially sincere.

  • Daisy Steiner

Adrian is still hot. He could shave it all off and still look good. I always thought Hayden was trying to look much older than she really is, and this is that to the millionth power.

  • Lauren

I know right…how dare they insult your viewing pleasure with such a ghastly sight as short hair…..it grows back people! Did you want them to turn out like Crystal Gayle? Sheesh

  • Michael Kennedy

this is news? EW, you now officially suck.

    • Johnification

      It’s a pop culture blog…
