VH1 to launch a slew of (gasp!) buttoned-up programming. Is this a good thing?

I REALLY WANT POP-UP VIDEO BACK!!! And to be honest, this is the perfect time… With GaGa leading a new wave of artists re-invigorating the video format we could be on the brink of MUSIC TELEVISION BEING MUSIC TELEVISION again!
Behind the Music and Storytellers, hooray! I also loved The List, Before They Were Rock Stars, and Where Are They Now. Hell, I even miss Rock & Roll Jeopardy. Come on old school Vh1!
Oh yes! Rock and Roll Jeopardy! That show was awesome. Good old Jeff Probst, pre-Survivor.
I LOVED “Behind the Music.” And the Pop-Up part of “Music and Lyrics.” This could be great.
I love Behind the Music. I am very excited about this turn of events.
Anyone remember Rock of Ages? You know that one where they’d have nuns and Satanists watching the same Madonna video or have Godfrey go into a Virgin store and badly hum songs to the staff in search of an album. It’s quite possible that my sister and I were the only two viewers of that show, but we still talk about “Rollin’ with Brolin” (you know from Barbra Streisand’s hip-hop album) to this day. “James Brolin is a man’s man!” – An irate customer who was none too pleased to hear Brolin’s name used as a hip-hop title
I only care about BTM and STs. They kept all that other trash to themselves!
Is Christine A going to talk about how she lipsynches in concert?
I really can’t stand thier “I Love the XX” decades. It’s low rent comics trying their bad material making fun of things people want to remember.
Hal Sparks making fun of Capt. Kangaroo as if he was some pedo was when I threw a brick at the TV and quit watching them.
I will be excited to see Christina’s Storytellers. But I love Flavor of Love and all those reality dating shows–they were hilarious.
VH1 should finally pay homage to Lil Kim and Foxy Brown on this years hip hop honors. They have been in the business for 15 years.
Looking forward to the Rush documentary and MORE music. Music music music. We cry UNCLE! When it comes to all of the trash reality programming. No more rock of loves, no more flavor of loves, no more loving new york, no loving ray jay, no love of money etc…replace those hours with music and concerts and music documentaries.
I can’t believe that VH1 is going to the RUSH documentary. I thought they only showed classless idiots like Flava Flav and rejects from the Rock of Love?
Man I cant wait for the evening with christina aguilera oh lord its going to be ENTERTAINING
