It’s so close between Inception and Toy Story 3, but I gotta give Inception the edge. Amazing cast and director, and it’s so cool that they’re doing some of the special effects for real, what with the spinning hallways and whatnot. Should be awesome.

Of course, Pixar won’t disappoint, either.

The Last Airbender…love me some Dev Patel!

I’m most excited for Inception, Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3, and Predators, in that order. With Predators being a distant fourth that just looks ok at the moment.

  • Nick B

Inception, Toy Story 3, and Iron Man 2, in that order.

  • Chris Price

Inception, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Machete, Iron Man 2, Dinner For Schmucks, Cyrus, The Killer Inside Me and The Other Guys.

Also these movies MIGHT be good: Toy Story 3 (not the same director or writers, otherwise I’m intrigued), The A-Team (trailer looks decent, but am I seriously supposed to believe this will be good?), Robin Hood (Ridley and Russell are a pretty reliable combo, but the trailer doesn’t look too promising), Get Him To The Greek (trailer looks like its hiding a funny movie), The Switch (trailer looks like it has all the funny parts in it) and The Expendables (on paper its a good idea, but that usually doesn’t count for anything).

There’s some movies coming out this summer that have already played the festival circuits or opened overseas that should be great, like I Killed My Mother, The Kids Are Alright, Get Low, Winter’s Bone, Micmacs and Life During Wartime. So that’s 20 movies this summer I would pay to go see. Hopefully at least half of them wind up being worth it!

Inception and Toy Story 3! I am dying in anticipation for those two films that I’m willing to shell out $18 for the midnight screenings, also on my list is Scott Pilgrim Versus the World, Micmacs from Jean Pierre Lumet (he directed Amelie, one of my favorite foreign films ever) and the Sundance hits Winter’s Bone and The Kids Are All Right.

The expendables no doubt. Definitely a must see in my book. Others look good too but it is expendables all the way.
