Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks graces the new cover of Esquire‘s “Women.” issue. Her curves look so good even I want to reach out and touch them. (Then ask her whose idea it was for her to eat watermelon seductively for an inside shot. I guess we’re supposed to be waiting for the juice to drip onto her ample cleavage? I suppose that’s more creative than having her lick an ice cream cone, which wouldn’t have matched her nail polish.)
Hendricks also penned an open letter to men revealing a number of truths about the way women think and what they want/don’t want from a man. Give it a read, guys. She speaks the truth about why you get laid (intelligence, humor, and your smell*), and offers helpful tips such as, use the word “panties” more, and “No shorts that go below the knee” and “Also, no tank tops.” I tend to agree with her on just about everything, save the statement “No man should be on Facebook.” I don’t consider that a deal breaker. Ladies, did Hendricks get it right?

Too bad Hendricks couldn’t show for the shoot and they had to take a pic of Julianne Moore after a bagel binge. FLUCKERY!
That’s actually pretty spot on.
Then again, as a guy who’s crushed on Moore since the mid-90′s and a guy who’s currently crushing on Hendricks, I just don’t see that as a bad thing.
Heck, I’m a straight woman and I have long-standing crushes on both of these women!
The photos on the Esquire website of her by the trailer were used in a previous issue. Hopefully they have some new shots in the new issue.

Christina Hendricks is pure sex on Mad Men. Outside of the show’s costumes, I have yet to feel the same way.

Yep, Mandi, Hendricks is definitely right about the smell thing but (I personally am still a Hugo Boss fan) but other than that I think we each have our own deal breakers. I agree with you that Facebook is not a deal breaker for me, but what is, is ugly shoes. I don’t know why but I always have to like the guy’s shoes. Hey, isn’t this a “Sex and the City” episode…

I agree with your stated reasons for Christina’s awesomeness (which are plain for all to see), however the thing that really pushes her over the edge for me is that she’s also EXCELLENT on “Mad Men.”

Every time January Jones gets nominated for an award I get a bit angry because she is NOWHERE near as good as Christina is.

I don’t watch Mad Men but I think this woman is stunning. I like seeing a female celebrity with a more natural look. She isn’t cookie cutter looking. I actually feel like I’ve grown tired of that overly ripped muscular look on women. Don’t get me wrong, I admire fitness and I believe it’s important to be fit. But I’m sort of tired of the “ideal” female body in our society being more masculine and ripped. It’s kind of refreshing to see a woman with softer curves and some weight on her. This woman is clearly not overweight. She’s just a very voluptuous woman. Very beautiful.
She played an awesome femme fatal on Firefly….I think that was her truly at her hottest…she was one of those girls that just catches ur breath….
