It amazes me that Maria stands around picking or biting her fingernails (so gross) while disrespecting Cyndi Lauper’s experience and creativity. Holly does the same, these two non-megastars so far have too much ego and too little talent
Just want to say Holly is full of sour grapes. When Tenacity won -as it was announced, Holly couldn’t even manage to break her pre-positioned stone face. It was as if winning didn’t register.it appeared, she was hoping they lost- and she would finally see Cyndi gone. Holly…Cyndi will outshine you in personality and talent always – no one likes to see that much negativity on a persons face so much of the time!
The 2010 contestants are really disappointing. Celebrities make curious contenders. Having a hit song or a winning recipe does not mean the songster or chef has any business sense. The most interesting choice was Blago who proved that politicians have even less talent than the least talented over-the-hill entertainment industry celebrity. You might fire them all and start over.
On Monday’s show (4/26) The Donald’s chastising of Cyndi Lauper for saying “I feel bad” raised the ire of many an English teacher. While Mr. Trump wasn’t completely wrong, Ms Lauper was definitely more correct. In the English language, the word “feel” can act as a linking or be verb, such as “I feel happy.” We would not say I feel happily or sadly. This is the same for the word bad. The most correct statement when referring to emotions is “I feel bad” as Cyndi stated. You might feel badly if you fell and hurt your knee; however, it is still an emotional response. I feel bad for Mr Trump or the staff person who gave him this statement. He really should feel bad about his treatment of Ms. Lauper and apologize to her. I hope someone knows how to get an email to him or his staff and they can correct their error and give Cyndi back her pride and fix this so not all of American viewers think the Donald is an expert on grammar/usage and will say it correctly.
