The podcasts are funny and insightful. Some tidbits from 4.15.10:

    - the creepy Willy Wonka promo was not their doing but they thought it was awesome. I loved the link to Wonka, who tested candidates to replace him and inherit his mysterious candy factory.

    - they won’t appear live after the finale (taped only) but will be live on Kimmel on Friday 5/21.

    - they hint that the last recruit may be Jack and that the next ep will not focus on one person. As seen in the clip on the abc.lost site, the Jack & Locke conversation should be one for the ages.

    - Eloise Hawking’s focus has been to maintain the space-time continuum. She attempted to hide Daniel from Widmore by choosing his surname to be Faraday in the island reality. Although I’m not sure how trying to hide Daniel from his destiny (i.e. Widmore getting Dan to the island so he can be killed by his mom) maintains the space-time continuum.

Also Damon said that Des ran over sideways Locke because island Locke pushed Des into the well..possibly. Carlton indicated that Des may be trying to accelerate some events in the sideways reality.

I just hope they don’t close down the ABC Lost message boards right after the show. I’m sure it’ll take some time to digest the finale and the show as a whole, I’ll need to go on there to find out what other fans are saying- to find out what they saw that I didn’t.

A Lord Baltimore in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid reference! Brilliant!!!

  • Alicia

That was short, compared to the other podcast. But, Damon and Carlton are always enjoyable to listen to…

I dont think the Dharma Initiative should be that confusing. We know that the Hanso family has had ties to the island for a long time, so this was their effort to get back and harness the energy/powers there. We also know that Widmore was on the island and wanted to get back for its powers as well. The US also made it to the island as evidenced by the bomb. Many people have ties to the island and bc of its powers want to come back.

I read your reference to Hanso family too fast and thought it said, “Han Solo”.
Wow, I love being a fan.

Was the dinosaur award a reference to Jurassic Park attempting to recreate timeline?

  • Silk Spectre

For me, its not as much about the story as it is the characters and seeing them evolve, and in that respect Damon and Carlton have done a wonderful job.

Isn’t it weird that Carlton, when speaking about The Last Recruit, called it “613 The Last Recruit”?

(Find it in the eighth minute.)

    • Cincy Steve

613 stands for the 13th episode in season 6.

Why doesn’t Jacob just appear to Hurley and let him know that Flocke can’t touch the candidates?

  • Steven

Did you honestly need to post that in two parts?

itunes all the way. In the finale, they will have to explain the connection between Eloise and Dharma, i.e. the Lampost station. that might connect the Dharma pieces. Also the donkey wheel, who made it and how Ben knew to summon the smoke monster. Seems like Ben had all this knowledge and there is no reason for it.

I want the last shot of the series to open with bedroom, 2 people asleep,1 wakes up and stretches, it’s J.J. Abrams, he says honey I had the strangest dream. The other person wakes up, it’s Jennifer Garner…the theme to Alias starts, fade.
