The promo for tonight’s episode of Justified (FX, 10 p.m. ET) leads me to believe the Timothy Olyphant series will continue to be appointment viewing (even if you do have to tape the 11 p.m. repeat on nights that The Good Wife and Parenthood have new episodes). Reasons why:
1) Raylan (Olyphant) is still sexing Ava. I’m sure the Marshal will come to his senses sooner or later, but I’m happy it’s not before we get ourselves a shirtless scene.
2) Raylan finally sees Arlo, the father he despises, and actor Raymond J. Barry looks like a fair match for Olyphant. Arlo: “You think I got stolen drugs? Prove it.” Raylan: “I got you out of jail… I’ll get you back in.” Play nice, boys.
3) Raylan punches a guy in the face. And carries a baseball bat. It’s really the latter that excites me (for the dry-wit dialogue that I’m sure will be accompanying it).

This is the best show to come around in a while. It was just the thing to bridge the gap until Sons of Anarchy returns.
I love Justified and I love Raylan/Ava. Sure, he’s going to get into a heap of trouble by being with her and okay…she might eventually decide to shoot him, but until then, they make an awesome pair. I think she’s the right woman for him. And that’s how invested I am in this show after only 4 episodes…
She shot her husband because he beat the snot of out her on a daily basis. It’s not like she just up and snapped for no reason.
I completely agree. I love her. But it also doesn’t mean that she isn’t gun happy either. I mean, we really don’t know her.
Hands down, my new favorite show these days. I always catch it at 11, but it’s a must-watch every week, for sure
My husband and I absolutely LOVE this show. We usually have to catch up with it in On Demand, though, due to schedules. People, check it out – you will not be disappointed!
Grandpa Shephard from Lost is Raylan’s dad? I approve. But am I the only one who hates Ava? She annoys me to no end. I much prefer Raylan’s ex-wife.
I don’t hate Ava but I would so like to see the wonderful Natalie Zea as Raylan’s ex wife. Where is she?? I know its only episode 4 but we haven’t seen her since the pilot or maybe episode 2.
Can’t wait for tonight’s new episode! Raymond Barry looks like he fits the part of Raylan’s dad perfectly. I also want to see more Rachel though. I really liked seeing her more last week.
This show was a nice surprise for me. With new shows I’m usually like a kid with enough friends already so I don’t need to be friends with you, but I happened to catch the pilot one night when I was bored and it was great luck I did. I kept thinking about it throughout the week so I had to add it to my Season Pass. I loved Timothy Olyphant on Damages, but he can definitely carry his own show.

I love the show but cannot stand the Ava character. She has no chemistry with Olyphant and she just bugs the crap out of me. Every scene she is in drags on and on. When she is gone this show wull really heat up.
Best show on television right now, in my opinion. Can’t get enough of it! My husband and I actually discuss the show during the week and then sit down together (big stuff!) to watch it each Tuesday. Thanks, FX, for a fabuolous show!! And ooh-la-la that Timothy Olyphant is one cool drink of water.
I pick two or three shows at a time to keep up with. I love The Mentalist, then found Fringe, and now Justifed has moved to #1 on my list. My husband watches my shows with me, but we discuss Justified the most as he is fan of Elmore Leonard. Finally! Shows worth watching
