I dvr The Daily Show and watch it the next day, so I am all ready to start watching Conan again at 11. Then, CraigyFerg at 12:30. Maybe I’ll start watching the dvr’d Daily Show at 12. Yay, for the return of Conan!
Same problem as before- only now it affects The Daily Show! I’m glad Comedy Central reruns Daily/Colbert often so I can DVR a later airing. I have until November to plan…
Based on a CNN report. its going to be Coco and Lo-co. Only in America folks. Viva the comedy revolution!!!
In your poll, you left out Monique/Wendy Williams on BET!!!
I watch Monique every night…
I DVR Colbert, Letterman, and Craig (Viva la Robot Skeleton Army!) every night. I watch Colbert at breakfast and Craig at dinner and I only watch Letterman if I like the guest. I’m sure I can squeeze Conan in there somehow.
I like the Letterman show but I will definitely give Coco/Lopez a shot. I never really cared for Conan until those last few weeks and he came to grow on me. I just hope he doesn’t lose the edge he brought to his show those last days.
Interesting how internet polls shape up – the current results reflect the precise opposite of what the ratings will be!
I guess Conan will start plugging ‘Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns’ starting in November.
I don’t particularly think that Lopez is funny and I think Conan is hilarious. But I have to admit that I see Lopez in a different light because he seems to embrace the idea instead of being resentful. Having O’Brien as his lead-in I’m sure will do leaps and bounds for his ratings anyway. Good move TBS.
Actually, my favorites are Conan and Craig Ferguson, but I voted Conan/Lopez cuz it’s Conan THEN Ferguson. O, and Stewart and Colbert are pretty kick-@ss
So I guess I’d rank Conan/Lopez> Stewart/Colbert>Letterman/Ferguson> Anything else> Ninja Turtle Reruns> Barney Reruns>>> Leno.
Here’s the video of George Lopez defending his decision to join Team Coco on Larry King last night:

I have been a Conanite for many years now and was quite sad when Conan left NBC, but being Conan I knew he would emerge, again, “Triumph”antly, just like the insult dog. With his usual bravado, he has made a wise choice with TBS and George Lopez! He will be funny no matter what network he is on. Now go out there and knock the ratings off of NBC!
Conan just put TBS on the map!
I once invited some people over to watch George Lopez. I told them I would pay them 10 dollars every time he made them laugh. I paid out nothing. There isn’t anything remotely amusing about Mr Lopez. Maybe I don’t get it, but this guy, pleasant as he is, is just not funny.
