Ewan Mcgregor should play him. Seriously, you can’t watch Velvet Goldmine and not think of Kurt Cobain.
thank god he isnt playing him, i would have cried
Joe Anderson should play Kurt!
This site is disinfo. He has been chosen to do this. Please ignore this article, thanks.
Though I do like Robert Pattinson (anyone seen Little Ashes?) and even indulge in Twilight from time to time, I am glad this rumor was fake. He just doesn’t scream Kurt Cobain to me.
I think Michael Pitt was absolutely perfect as Kurt in Last Days. I almost wish he could play him again, because I just can’t think of someone better. I mean he looked exactly like him and is just a fantastic actor.
Actually, I just wish they would leave it alone. Everyone knows the story, and Gus Van Sant did a nice job not exploiting Cobain or his death with his film. Maybe if hey avoid the topic of his suicide all together and focus on the story of their music and such.
by the comment under me i ment the first comment about robert shooting himself in the face.
yeah zac is america answer to acting, yuck!
Am I the only person who actually thinks a movie about Kurt Cobain would be really, really interesting? Kurt was a fascinating person–the one musician who brought alternative rock to the mainstream, a painter, a thinker of sorts, and considered by many to be one of the great musicians in rock history. He was very tormented–heroin addiction, depression, and a troubled relationship with his family–which would make for some compelling drama. That, plus the controversy and mystery surrounding his death, which is still talked about nearly twenty years later. Though, judging from the comments, I doubt the most hardcore Nirvana fans would support this, considering Courtney Love is basically Yoko Ono in their eyes, despite the fact that many of Kurt’s friends and associates said she was the only thing that kept him going day to day.
