- Showtime is shamelessly in love with their William H. Macy drama: The network has picked up 12 episodes of Shameless, which follows an alcoholic father (Macy) of a blue-collar Chicago family. That’s deep stuff for the home of deep-dish pizza. Mmm. [Variety]
- HBO has ordered nine episodes of Mike White and Laura Dern’s Enlightened, a comedy about a woman “who has a revelatory experience at a treatment center.” Let’s hope that involves rolling cheese. [THR]
- Marvel and Paramount will spend over $80 million to promote Iron Man 2 through print, TV, radio, in-theater, and Internet campaigns. Also, Iron Man 2-branded Dr. Pepper cans will be available, since the only thing excitable comic book fans are missing in their lives is…more sugar. [Variety]
- Less than one week after John Forsythe passed away, Dynasty co-star Christopher Cazenove died April 1 after a battle with septicemia. He was 64. [Reuters]

So, let him off the hook because it’s too much trouble and/or costs too much money to continue? Let Polanski pay for the excesses. He’s the one who ran! This entire thing is his fault. If he had faced the music all those years ago, none of this would be “draining” anything now. He’s a perv, a coward and a sex offender. He should do his time like every other criminal out there.
I LOVED the original British version of Shameless. It was so amazing, funny and touching. It starred James McAvoy in a supporting role. It will be interesting to see how the American version is. anyone know when it premieres?
What about SMG’s pilot for HBO, “The Wonderful Maladys,” was it? And the “Washingtonienne” from SJP? What happened to that?
@moviemartin
smg’s pilot wasn’t picked up
It is very well-writen. It is useful to find some KW to ensure low cost.
It’s an issue needs to be addressed. I think this article just did a good job.
