I can’t believe I just read through 350 comments and no one menthioned the beautiful song “MMM” written and performed by Laura Izibor (google her) as the victim. the lyrics were perfect for this ep: Mmm..
make everything so simple in a crazy world,
and I’m tryna find the words to say,
you make everything alright just by being around
boy you make me wanna sing
mmmm
your my light in the dark
guiding, guiding me home
and your faith in me, is all I need
baby, mmmm your love it sets me free
mmmmm….
I need a little help, boy
I can’t seem to breath easy
not when you’re around oooh
mmmm….
i just watched and was so moved by the great lyrics in that song! they really were perfect.
but did anyone notice that Booth’s belt buckle said “Cocky”? i thought that was hilarious.
I loved the coma-dream episode. Maybe Brennan will have her own dream where she and Booth are living an alternate reality, and she will realize that she CAN let herself love him. I hope B&B get together NEAR the end of the series, but before the very end, so we (the ‘shippers) can enjoy a few episodes of B&B figuring out/exploring their relationship. Plus some hawt B&B action!
Honestly? I thought the flashback scenes sort of cheapened their relationship.
On one hand it showed that they did like eachother from the start and it reinforces Booth’s conviction that he “knew” she was the one. But on the other it also means that the development we’ve seen during the previous seasons feels… somehow less important. Because they already made so much progress during the first case.
Flashbacks are hard to pull off though, alot can go wrong.
It’s not a bad episode, not at all.
The last part where Booth confessed to her made my jaw drop. I did not see that coming.
Brennan should know by now that Booth would treat her right. Should, but then the writers would end one of the most intersting plotlines this show has.
It’s the Mulder/Scully complex all over again.
Anyways. I’m done ranting.
I am glad they didn’t get together. Bones needs to prove HER affection FOR HIM now. I mean, WE SEE IT, but she really needs to show herself AND him that it’s there. But, on the other hand, they HAVE TO END UP TOGETHER OR I WILL NEVER WATCH ANOTHER TV SHOW AS LONG AS I LIVE. With this new girl that’s going to be with Booth, she better get jealous, he’ll tell her he’s going to make another move, and Bones will have a romantic epiphany, stop him from doing it, tell her she’s ready to take a risk, and then he’ll kiss her and she’ll say she’s sorry, he’ll say she has nothing to be sorry about, and VOILA, what we’ve all been waiting for.
I personally hated this episode and do not think it flows with the storyline well at all. It pretty much ruins most of the awkward build up of their friendship and now sexual tension. To go and say “oh no this is how we met” and have their dynamics be completely changed is a cop out. Her personality was nothing like it was the first several seasons. This episode almost ruins all the previous seasons for me.
Am I the only one to see the flash back as a explanation. Booth did not come back for Bones after that Tequila night, he hirred her back yes But thereby he also said I do not want to Be with you! I just wanted to sleep with you. They canl Be together if They work together. maby all the tension is becaurse Booth did not choose her, over work and she feels hurt over that.
