Image Credit: CSM/LandovLA Lakers’ controversial forward Ron Artest, who’s known for his eccentric behavior, is taking his antics from the court to the small screen, as he’s developing and producing a reality series about his life, set to be called They Call Me Crazy, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Artest’s life seems more than perfect for reality documentation, considering his big personality and bad boy image. For instance, Artest famously assaulted a fan in huge Pacers-Pistons brawl in 2004. (Not that we’re advocating for any on-screen abuse, of course!)
Supposedly, Artest will “make amends for past transgressions” (so…atoning for the brawl?) and, on the other end of the spectrum, help new musicians through his music label, Tru Warier. The company behind the series, E1, is loading up a slew of other music-related series, too—one from hip-hop artist Faith Evans and a children’s show with KISS guys Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. Will you watch Artest in a reality series? Or, possibly more interested in the Faith Evans or KISS shows?

Want a tiny example? The reason he chose to wear the number 37 for the Lakers is because that’s the amount of weeks Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” spent at the top of the charts. (Um, what?!)
Whatever network is going to air this show must be on the verge of bankruptcy. Why would anybody want to watch this???
Are you kidding me? Who wouldn’t want to watch it is the appropriate question. This guy is insane, and even if he turns out to be boring as hell his entourage of like 50 ghetto ass friends will more than make up for it.

Love Ron- he is a stand-up guy and does alot for Queens and Indiana when he was there. People just by into the media’s image way too much.

wow a show about Ron Artest? usually i am not in agreement with these types if shows but Artest is one i would actually enjoy to see.
