Image Credit: Nick Harvey/WireImage.comHonestly, which part of that headline is more delightful: “J.K. Rowling to read” or “at the White House Easter Egg Roll”? Scholastic reports that Rowling will be in Washington, D.C. to read excerpts from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and answer children’s questions at the annual Easter event hosted by the President and First Lady on Monday. Those families with children 12 and under lucky enough to have scored tickets can catch her live at 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., while the rest of us will be able to watch the live stream of the Egg Roll on www.whitehouse.gov.
Thirty thousand people are expected to attend the event, which will also feature performances by the cast of Glee and Justin Bieber.

Jealous!
SUPER JEALOUS! I WANT TO GO TOO
YAY!!! I’m going to be there!! WOOOOO! This, and the cast of Glee!!! WOOO!!
I want to go to there.
She looks great!
I would LOVE to see her read live. I’m really happy that the white house is going to be broadcasting it on their website, so that those of us who can’t go will be able to see it! I wonder what chapter(s) she’s going to read??
I have to add…I’m disappointed that they’re only limiting it to children under the age of 12. Most longtime HP fans are over the age of 18.
Children under 12 and their families! I’m 15 and I’ll be attending with my cousin who is 3.
