Jay sucks…has anybody mentioned that yet (oh I guess 90% of these posts)…

The thing I find most abhorrent is his comment, “The reason show business pays a lot of money is so when you get screwed you’ve got something left over.” So what do the rest of us, we office workers, teachers, factory workers…, get when we’re screwed? Oh yeah, our homes repossessed.
Waaaah…
In the end, both Leno and O’Brien will have far more money than I will ever see in my life, so I can’t get worked up over their alleged “screwing” by NBC.
Leno is funny. Conan makes my hair hurt. It’s really that simple
I love the comment “The affiliates wanted us back, so we came back.” No, Jay, the affiliates wanted you GONE. From the ten pm slot. Where you were killing them. If Conan had had the 10 pm lineup you now have, he would have done just fine.

Money is relative.
Yes, they make lots & lots of money. But out of Conan’s and Jay’s share comes the staff, writers, etc. And they can go months without a gig.
What is different with these two is that they are passionate about what they do. They did it for no money in the early days. They couldn’t do anything else; it was what they were born to do. If they were paid what I make in a year, they probably would still be out there trying. They don’t have just a job; this is their avocation, their passion in life.
Jay is right. NBC screwed them both. It messed with Conan’s livelyhood, but it messed with Jay’s reputation.
Conan got screwed, not Leno ! Leno came out on top unfortunately !!! BOOO!
Well, catfight bitchy tv reviewers have had nothing but trash to talk about Jay Leno since it happened–he’s about as popular with the bitchy set as Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck. So I’d say it’s sucked for him. Conan, meanwhile, comes out smelling like roses for his failures. Who cares, either way…
I wish Jay would “Jaywalk” away for good!! He is not funny, relevant, or remotely interesting. I wish nothing but pain and sorrow not only for him, but anyone associated with him. GO AWAY LENO!!!!!!!
You’ve got to be kidding me. He’s still talking about the “numbers” and affiliates…. If I recall correctly, Jay, your show was on before the news, not Conan’s.
I wish Leno would just shut up while he’s ahead. What a whiner and a cry baby, AND a sneaky rat. He’s trying to make himself look good now and trying to be on Conan’s side. Too late for that. (A poster can’t stand to look at his face now: an ugly face at that!)
EW, please do us a favor and report the facts about Jay and how he’s lying to crap on Conan.
