A big problem I had with yesterday night’s episode and a major plot hole is that “Kwon” is one of the few names left on the Cave Wall so as viewers we are supposed to be in the dark as to whether that means Sun of Jin. But in Korean Culture, the woman keeps her maiden name and does not take her husband’s surname. Conceivably Jacob would know this. Sun and Jin might have been on their way to the US but she never would have had the chance to change her name until well after she had arrived and established residency in the US. This has more to do with the writer’s lack of knowledge of Korean culture than a major plot hole I suspect.
Watching Mulholland Drive again, and guess who I saw? Minute 37.
