I just watched Girls Just Want to Have Fun for the first time and I had never heard of this movie until today, but now I LOVE it!!!

When I was a little girl, I rented Girls Just Want to Have Fun every single time I visited the video store… I watched and rewatched that movie every second I could…
LOVE.THIS.MOVIE. I used to have my barbies perform the final tumbling sequence as a child.
Anyway, I think SJP is a decent actress, and I applaud her for not plasticizing her face like many actresses of her age have. People make fun of those actresses that get too much work done, and make fun of those that don’t get anything done. What is it about people that makes them want to be so vicious about the way someone looks?
