I saw about 4 of the singers. 1 was really bad….trying to be sexy. The big lady with the guitar was good.
Great recap, as always! They need to get rid of Ellen and Kara, bring back Paula. Ellen adds absolutely nothing to the show, Kara is downright annoying. Only two did I like – Crystal and Lee, the latter who is underestimated by the media. Lee has a gravely, David Matthews type voice and sounds great recorded (listen to his Itunes songs). He needs some confidence, but he improves consistently every week.
They should crown Crystal the winner right now, or else get rid of three tonight – paige, tim (oh please!) and andrew (extra please).
I agree Sue W, Crystal and Lee to me are the best, even last night what Lee sang, was fantastic, he has a great voice, for some reason he looks so scared on stage. I hope America gets rid of someone that should be going home.

I have watched every single season of “Idol”, but I think that’s the worst episode ever, and the worst assembly of “artists” (eyes-rolling-back-into-head) as well.
Has the shark been officially jumped?
Ok, I’m gonna nit-pick here because I can’t stand the gross over- and wrong-usage I’ve been seeing everywhere, of the phrase, “jump the shark.” It refers originally to the Fonz’s ridiculous (and ridiculously hyped)stunt near the end of Happy Days. It was such a ludicrous plot move that the show was seen to have lost all credibility afterward; thus, it “jumped the shark.”
AI is certainly weaker than it has ever been on credibility, but jumping the shark is not an appropriate term for a show generally going downhill, or for this show after one extraordinarily bad night.
Ok. I feel better now.
So Andrew pulled a Kris Allen creativity move and he’s had weeks to do it again, but it’s NEVER going to happen. Bye bye tonight please. Paige, Tim, the two of them also have to go, bring back Lilly and Alex, double please. Didi, what were you thinking with that song choice? Casey, break loose man, cause you could be in the final 3. Katie’s voice for R&B/Pop, really? Ah, no. Lots of people try to sing Janis, very few succeed, Sox rocked it. Siobhan is by far the most interesting part of the show, Simon loved Glambert’s polarizing shrieks, he doesn’t need to tell us each week that some people will like her performances and some will not. I think we know that. I think she knows that. She’s awesome.
Worst.show.ever. Please fforward to a SHioban vs Crystal finale. Everyone else sucks. After all ths seasons, this is the first time that I have to fforward thru the show, it is horrible!

the shows themselves have been both boring and painful to listen to. reading what’s actually happening in the dome is the only thing interesting left!

Siobhan pulled off a great Sanjaya impersonation last night. For some reason, the singing/screaming is more palatable in a female. Casey is just as adorable as ever. I love Crystal’s contained personality. Aaron was decent. Overall, it seemed like everyone was pitchy or off-key. I’m wondering about the stage set-up and if the singers are not able to hear the music. I’m surprised no one is thinking about this after such a bad night.

I look forward to watching Idol every season. I’ve never posted on the show before, but last night’s episode was so disappointing, I feel I have to. With the exception of two performances, they were HORRIBLE. I was kicking myself for the first time in years for wasting two hours of my time on it. What the heck were they thinking picking these people? I’m done watching the show from here on in… I have much better things to do with my time!!
Don’t know who is giving these performers Ideas back stage but they should be fired this year, Unless they
are trying to FIX the Final, which has always been a Rap American Idol has had.
