“I’m already envisioning a scene in which a drunk Jack has difficulty understanding her English” – that could be hysterical! Depp, McShane, Rush, Cruz – this could really be great if they don’t screw it up (e.g., no dance numbers, no singing). I liked all 3 POTC films – the sea battle at the end of 3 is fantastic!
I LOVE Pirates it introduced me to Johnny and I will always love the movies. I will be in line to see the 4th movie and if they make a 5th as long as it has Johnny I will be there!
I liked all three and thought they did a really good job. I can’t wait to see the fourth!
I actually liked the second one best, it was more light-hearted.But story wise, the first one was definetly best. The third one wrapped up all the loose ends, but it didn’t have the same “feel” as the first two movies and isn’t a movie a I like to watch over and over again. I think the fourth one will be good, because they took a break and looked at what worked and what didn’t.
Wait, no Elizabeth or Will?! What has this series gone to!
Zoe Saldana would have been a better choice. Plus she was already in the first movie so she could just reprise her role.
I can’t stand Penelope Cruz. How does she get roles in the movie industry? I mean I get it, she’s not terrible to look out, but you can’t understand anything she says with that heavy accent so it ends up ruining the movie watching experience. It took me 5 times of watching Vanilla Sky to finally understand what she was saying in that movie. Ugh
