The newest comedy from Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller, June 4′s Get Him to the Greek stars Jonah Hill as a music biz flunky who has to escort rock god Aldous Snow (Russell Brand, reprising his Sarah Marshall role) from the U.K. to L.A.’s Greek Theatre for a show.

The premise of this movie is completely ridiculous… even for Hollywood. Puffy is trying to revive his record label, so the solution is a one-night only concert at a theater that holds about 5,000 people. No wonder the music industry is flailing.
Yeah, I go to movies to learn how to revive a record label. Sheesh, homefries- it’s a movie. This ain’t a documentary on the tele.
It’s still gotta be believable for it to work. Otherwise, it’s just dildo and puke jokes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I don’t know why, but I really don’t like Jonah Hill. He’s unpleasant. There’s something about him I just don’t like. Love the rest of the Apatow bunch, and think Russell Brand is hilarious. I may have to give this one a miss because of my irrational dislike of Jonah Hill. Hrm.
I don’t think your dislike of Jonah is irrational. You have been brainwashed into thinking that a morbidly obese ugly man is not attractive. You know in Fiji, Jonah is like a king! All the honies would love to spend three minutes with him.
Nah. It’s not that. My hubby is chubby. And Jason Segel is no adonis, but he’s adorable. Jonah Hill just skeeves me out.
if possible, the red band trailer made this movie look even worse. ugh. not funny at all. and i enjoyed forgetting sarah marshall.

Hate Russell Brand. However, the only time I ever laughed at him was when he sang “Inside You”. I don’t really want to see Jonah naked AT ALL. I heard that Elizabeth Moss is in this.
