Worse season of Idol ever! The only voice I find interesting is Lee.And even him,I only listen on web sites.Can’t sit through 2 hrs.of this mess anymore.
Your review was “RIGHT ON!” for all those you mentioned, but there was no mention of Casey. He sang very well; and his studio recording of the song is excellent.
I also keep wondering why Casey is never mentioned??I like him and think he has a shot at the top 3.
I can see where you’re coming from, that Crystal has become Idol Weary, but I suspect it has more to do with her three friends leaving so suddenly.
I can’t stand Siobhan…she gets on my nerves big time! She is just a freak show!!! and thinks that screaming is hitting a high note!! we lost when we lost Lily and Katelyn and Todrick. I am for Casey… he is not stiff just layed back. Crystal is ok…just not used to a girl with dreadlocks. Don’t like Andrew… the rest are ok… I think Aaron will gain confidence, but who knows.

Bowersox hasn’t been a sleeper since Hollywood week and “natural woman”. Siobhan was the sleeper.
The big surprise is going to be Tim Urban. He has “Teen Idol” written all over him. Sure, his singing sucks. However, Teen Idols are more about appearances than music. They are disposable after two years, but will make a fortune.
Don’t be surprised if he makes the Final Three.

Who can break up the Crystal-Siobhan party? How about Casey? He’s probably the other front-runner, yet somehow he was ignored totally in this recap.

I don’t think michael is any good. he sucked. He’s just overrated by the judges.
Cold Crystal and Screaming Siobhan peaked too early. They will get boring by level 6. The finals will be battle between Dynamic Didi and Lusty Lee. Big Mike can sing but way too arrogant for my text vote. Yes, when it comes down to it, it’s not all about singing. Just ask Kris Allen.
Cheap shot on Kris Allen. If you listen closely, he’s a pretty good vocalist. The runer-up was the true con. His voice isn’t very distictive so he had to use gimmicks like a weak falsetto and an on-pitch screetch, combined with a cheap, flashy rock get-up to convince people he was authentic.
Are you kidding??Adam is the best vocalist ever to appear on American Idol and is gaining world-wide attention. Soon, people will be saying “Kris who?”
Crystal will probably win, Siohban I don’t like at all, don’t think she really has a voice. She tries to make us think she does with all her screaming. But, once Casey goes, I’ll stop watching. I’m just in it for the eye candy
It’s kind of stupid when people say things like, “I’m just in it for the eye candy.” Then there really is no point in watching the show if you think that Casey is eye candy. I’m pretty sure he would feel disrespected if the only reason you like him is because you think he looks good. That’s just plain superficial.
Mostly spot on with this week’s idolatry. While Crystal and Siobhan are my favs at this point, I don’t think they’ll wind up as 1 and 2, and I’d give the edge to Crystal because I think she has more poise and confidence than Siobhan. Plus, I think Siobhan is gonna have to lighten up with the song choices at some point. I’d pick Lee and Casey to make top 5 too. And either of them could be in the finale – especially with so many more female fans of the show voting now for the hot male contestants.
I sort of agree with you on the girls not necessarily making the top two, but Casey winning? I doubt it. And I don’t think the voting was ever gender specific, or based on superficial things like looks. Afterall, a good handful of AI winners were not the best looking. It actually came down to whoever connected with the voting audience.
I think Siobahn needs to keep it dark and cool. The moment she lightens up Simon will pounce on her and say Karoke or Cabaret or Broadway. Just watch!! She needs to stick with cool song choices which she has been
Actually, I think Mr. Kelly might be sneaking up toward the top. I wouldn’t be surprised if he came in at least 3rd.
You two have lost your minds. I think I just unsubscribed to EW. I used to believe you somewhat. I agree with almost nothing you said above. What have you been listening to. I just hope that noone else agrees with you or I will be NOT watching AI much longer.
