Hm, I don’t especially like Sandra Bullock, she’s around my age and I have no aspiration to be anything like her, and I think the fact that ‘not even she’ has a “perfect” life is actually the healthiest and most affirming reminder we can get. Being a rich movie star does not rise you above being human and having human problems like the rest of us. I knew her Oscar speech was phonier than a $3 bill anyway. She ain’t that good of an actress.
Sandra Bullock is a stunning lady! Beauty and a heart of gold. So rare today. It is so important for couples to employ what I call the CC&R’s. Not in real estate terms-but what I call-Communicate,Compromise, and Respect. Perhaps 1, or all 3 were not implemented?

I find this whole thing very suspicious. This alleged affair occurred while Sandy was filing the Blind Side. Why did the skank choose to wait until NOW to say something? It just screams “publicity stunt.” I hope for both Sandy and Jesse’s sakes that it’s nothing more than a rumor. But if Jesse was stupid enough to cheat on the awesome Sandra Bullock then he deserves whatever he gets. Because that’s about the most idiotic thing he could ever do. It’s Sandra Bullock for crying out loud!
The skank, as you call her (LOVE it!) was paid $30,000 by In Touch, according to some reports. That’s pretty big motivation, and since Sandra just won an Oscar, it’s great timing for In Touch.
Remember how sanctimonious he was on “Celebrity Apprentice?” Ha.
Seeing as this girl claiming to have had an affair with him probably runs in the same circles as his ex whom he is in a custody battle with, maybe she and his ex decided to concoct a story to break up Jesse and Sandy so that her chances of not loosing her child to them were higher? Just a thought, you can’t believe everything you hear or read.
Julia Roberts would fit this ‘Oscar curse’ as well – Benjamin Bratt and Julia broke up soon after her Oscar win.
Why do you mess around with the skanky tatoo queen when you have Sandra Bullock at home? OMG, what an idiot! My heart is so heavy for her. She doesn’t deserve such shabby treatment.
Bullock is nothing special looks wise. She might be as a person but neither you or I know that.
with all due respect, ms. armstrong, because your piece is sincerely written–but it displays exactly the problem with celebrity. this fantasy that they can live up to perfection, simply because they’re good and very professionally accomplished people. it’s quite a burden to place on mss. bullock and winslet, imho.
This is not what it’s about. It’s not that the fans wanted to watch a movie of Sandy’s, or that we wanted to see that someone could have it all. This is about the fact that Sandra Bullock is the nicest and a down to earth and lovable figure. We wanted the best for her. She feels like our friend because she leads a public life, and the fact that she retained all of these traits while navigating one of the most treacherous and character robbing settings in Hollywood. WE JUST WANTED TO SEE HER HAPPY. PERIOD.
crisis in life is inevitable. that’s the beauty of it. overcoming and learning. i am not trying to argue with you… just discussing this idea that wanting someone to be happy and equating that with hoping somehow they don’t encounter suffering in life. that’s all i’m saying.

Ouch. I hope that he didn’t have the affair for obvious reasons but also because the one part of Sandra’s speech I remember is when she spoke about her husband and how she finally knew what it was like for someone to have her back. Which ummmm I guess might not be true. Just ouch…

Another “shocking” story about yet another Hollywood marriage falling apart. A guy covered in tatoos, formerly married to a porn star, cheated on his wife??? Who would’ve guessed?? And don’t feel too badly for Sandra–the heat will be off her by next week when the next (shocking, unbelievable) Hollywood marriage breakup is covered by EW. Hopefully, Oprah will have called Sandra by that point to publicly discuss how much she hates all the publicity.
