Lacey needed an IT factor. IT wasn’t the flower in her hair. IT was the orangie red. IT definitely wasn’t the spiky messy hair style. So the IT had to be her voice and presentation. That wasn’t IT either: The little girl voice didn’t get IT. IT has to be the whole package. IT wasn’t there. I thought she was a sweet girl but not . . . . . IT

Lacey could be a frontwoman for a country or christian pop band but not a solo artist. However, I would switch back to her true hair color because the Koolaid hair is toe up.

I haven’t been watching Idol, but from the article she sounds like she has a great attitude and is pretty optimistic on her future in the industry. Best of luck to her. She’s really pretty…she’ll find work!
Here’s what I want to know- thousands of people auditioned and these are the best you came up with? Keep Mike Lynch and Crystal Bowersox and just send the rest home- they are too painful to watch.
I liked her interview. Very genuine, realistic, down to earth. She admitted that she is is not a good dancer and she stuck to what she likes and does better. I agree, belting note divas and dancing britney replicas are not everyone’s cup of tea. I wish her all the best

Lori, DeGarmo went the musical theater route like Constantine Marouils. She was last seen playing Penny in Hairspray. Katie has broadway quality too but totally not pop.
Lacey should NOT have gone home!! It should have been Paige going home! Paige needed to go home LONG before Lilly did! Lacey should still be on American Idol singing her heart out! Lacey has so much talent and i hope that she gets a singing carrer somewhere and relese an album!! I would definately buy her soundtrack…if she had one…
Add me to the DON’T VOTE FOR KATIE camp. Nice voice, but no musical instincts whatsoever. She may be a great musician someday, but for now she’s just too young and too raw.

katie is nasally, lacy is boring. the winner should be siobhan or crystal, of course. REAL talented women.
Wait till Crystal reaches the Top 6, when she croaks and the backlash starts. America loves sleepers. Lacey could potentially be one, now it is up to Paige.
lacey should have outlasted paige and katie, but none of them should have outlasted lilly – one of the few real artists on the show this season. anyway, one thing i think most of you don’t understand about the music industry is that there are more people like kara (song writers flying below the radar until they’re elevated to AI judge) and back-up singers than there are kelly clarksons. paige, katie, and lacey are all qualifed to be back-up singers at best. but with vocal training and hot producers, like professionals have, who knows? they are unripe bananas, as ellen says. in many ways.
