Adam Lambert must be tossing his eyeliner at the television. Not one of these contestants is worthy to hold his mascara wand, let alone can touch his vocals. Dull, dull and dull.

Dave, if you knew anything about music, you’d realize that Adam Lambert was on key much more of the time during his runs and wailing than Ms. Magnus has been so far this year. You only like her more because she is a cute girl and you are probably a braindead redneck.

How can he sound like her he was last season it’s not like he said who can I copy and where can I find her. SO if Adam copy’s Magnus then how come he was doing this last year and she is this year.
Katie’s still the worst of the bunch , Crystal had an aweful night. I think Aaron is really stepping up for someone so young. I think Didi has great vocals out of the girls
My favoite group is The Rolling Stones; I was very disappointed when I watched Idol; I did not even recognized some of the songs they sang; yet I have heard them all before. No one gave the Stones’ any of the feeling. I guess it depends all of the songs cannot be sung by anyone else. I will not watch it again.
I just wished that more people would just stop mentioning Andrew Garcia, not doing well. What is with everybody, but few, like me who liked his performance. I don’t care if he’s not doing any better, but he has. Where is everybody’s mind now. Please wake up. Nobody treats Andrew, like a poor entertainer and I wouldn’t either. I just want to hear him again when I see him on the Idol show this year. I am tired of these bad things about Andrew’s performances, everytime this happens. That’s enough, and whoever can mention anything he, she, or they want about him, but I disagree over the not so good performances from him. He’s pulling it together, now and improving. Come on, be understanding. Thanks.
People would stop saying Andrew didn’t do well if he’d quit sucking and do well. If you like him good for you, but he’s terrible and deserves to leave.
I do not generally watch Idol, however, I wanted to see how a group of 20 something’s performed Rolling Stones classics. Well, I was more disappointed than I thought I would be. It is not that these young boys and girls do not have gifts, they do; But the Stones? I am sorry, but that selection by FOX and Idol was unfair. Many of these kids did not have the feel of the songs and quite frankly, unless they sing Hannah Montana or Avril Lavigne songs, they cannot “connect” with songs of other generations. It has to mean something to you to make it sound real. Otherwise, it is just going through the motions. I hope somebody wins who has the chance to do a lot like Carrie Underwood did. Good luck. Hopefully they do not pick some other iconic 70′s singers for these young kids to try and connect with. Let’s just stick with songs they can relate to; Say, the title theme from Bob the Builder…
I have no idea why Katie and Paige are still in…I have a feeling America is being set up to vote for a couple of kids with mediocre talent…
I agree that some of the surprises from the week before were outrageous- particularly Katelyn Epperly- who was very good. But, Siobhan Magnus, in my opinion, is the BEST singer in the history of the show. She will win the show. She’s got it all. The top 3 is already set with Big Mike, Crystal and Siobhan-so the next 8 weeks don’t even matter. I enjoy watching Didi (she’s gorgeous) and Katie (she’s cute)- so I hope they stick around as long as possible. But, as for the others, I don’t really care who gets eliminated from here on out. Siobhan is my girl!
U people r kidding? How can u compare anybody with Adam, the show is completely boring, turn into a ‘karaoke’ show again!
yup, season 9 is the nightmare season of Idol
shioban sings well but there is something about her voice which I can call, not flawless at all. it’s nasal, not from the diaphragm, so I can say, not much quality. but of course, she knows how to put art in it and that is why it’s seems in place. But voice quality… not much for me.
It’s only in retrospect or top 5 that the seasons are really good. Last year only kradison, imo, held my attention for the 90 secs they were singing. the rest of the show I was bored to death.
this year its the same, with didi, siobhan and crystal being my new kradison. everyone else is bleh.
oh and i think kara owes didi a serious endorsement for a recording contract if she’s an early shocker elimination–’terrified’ actually made me respect kara, stop youtube-ing katy perry mocking her, and now she is (i am shocked to admit) my fave judge. or, at least the one i agree with most.
The ironic thing about the Rolling Stones show is that Mick wouldn’t even qualify to be in the show. His voice is gritty and he doesn’t have that shiny plastic look to him plus their songs actually have feeling to them and not that throw away sound that is popular. Most talented rock singers would never make the cut.
The judges have no clue what talent is and that’s why American Idol is such a lame show. It has no basis in reality.
Personally I dont like Siobhan. Kara comparing her to the Adam was wrong. I think Lee is pretty good and he’ll be better once he produces star power. GO CRYSTAL
