I’m indonesia an stay in my country now, but I really want to watch it.
First of all, the one’s that are great (Crystal, Siobhan) are going to stay great, and some of them have potential to get great (Casey,Lee,Didi,Andrew). No doubt the Stones catalogue are going to pose some problems for some of them (I imagine Katy and Aaron were asking for some kind of clarification about who exactly they are) but there’s real opportunity for some. Casey started off kind of bluesy so maybe a slower tempo “Street Fighting Man”? Paige should Aretha-ize “Let’s Spend the Night Together”. The Bette Midler version of “Beast of Burden” for Lacy. If she can avoid making it too Ronstadt-y, maybe “Tumbling Dice” for Siobhan. It’s not one of their bigger hits (that nay be a virtue) but with the right amount of emotion Andrew could do very well with “Fool to Cry.” Aaron probably best not trying to rock to hard, so maybe he should check out the Dwight Yoakum version of “The Last Time.” Tim can go ahead and murder “Angie”, one of their weaker tunes. Katy might take a bash at “As Tears Go By.” Lee can try “Get Off of My Cloud.” Mike for “Honky Tonk Women” or “Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker). And Crystal? Crystal can sing the liner notes from one of Mick’s solo albums and that would be fine with me.
If even Alicia Keys couldn’t improve on Wild Horses, I highly doubt the likes of lacey Brown or Katie Stevens will be up to the task.
There’s no point in even watching anymore.
I am looking forward to each performance. Sure there will be duds, but that’s the fun of the show. Also, there may be some surprises!
the gurls this year are HOT!
Aaron should sing T & A. If anyone can get that past the censors, it would be Chicken Little 2.OH No.
For Paige I’d recommend Goin’ Home from the Aftermath album. (It lasts almost 12 minutes.)
What’s sad is that there will only be one person voted off this week… Oh Alex, how you could have rocked “Anybody Seen My Baby”
I really do not think I am watching the same show as the judges….
I would say sing Time is on my side.
