tyson gets voted out next hahahahaah bout time

    • Pa Gal

It’s not very nice of you to share info from the “bootlist” which sadly has been absolutely correct in the evictions thus far. Just curious, though, about past seasons – was there a bootlist or is this the first year that we’ve seen how the people are voted off? Maybe I’m too naive but I thought that this info couldn’t be obtained because if the person leaking is found, he/she would lose the $$$.

    • Lilymax

Not cool to put spoilers on here idiot.

    • Peter

Most of us know about this and if someone wants to find out what happens next they should have the liberty to go find it themselves. NOT have some miserable loser that sucks at life come on here and spoil those who don’t what to know.
No wonder no one likes you.

    • lara

what an a hole, do you really hink it’s cool to ruin it for fans of survivor? Obviously, you aren’t a fan, or a nice person.

  • The Curse of Winning

If the villains continue to win this could be a repeat of last season. You may end up with a group of disgruntled heroes forced to vote together as a block for mere survival, while one or several heroes exploit any divisions between the villains. If this does happen I hope the villains vote any heroes out one-by-one.

Love the dragon slayer, he is a modern day Don Quixote.

    • JC

Given the way they are playing so far, NONE of the heroes deserve to make it to the end. Their game is whack. The only “hero” that has game would be Cirie and maybe Steph, but now that they have been eliminated, JT is the only hope of a hero making it to the end (although his decision tonight says otherwise….). I’ll be happy as long as someone from the Villains win :D

      • Cowcharge

Why are people so hot to see a “hero” win? They’re not really heroes, you know. Just other players. Would you root for a poker player who never bluffs, because it’s more “honest”? Silly. This season has the huge potential to do exactly what Probst is always giving them shit about: Picking a winner because they’re nice, and not because they’re the best player. By “officially dividing “good” from “evil”, Burnett et al are ensuring that last season’s final tribal will be repeated over and over. Which is what Probst complained about. Duh.

  • Mark

Wow, in any other season James would be a gonner. To bad the heroes gave up on winning immunities a long time ago. Right now it looks like by the time the heroes make it to the merge they will all be in braces or bandaged up hehe.

Russell is pure gold, the moment where he knights coach is hilarious. Coach is so unstable though, i see him flipping from side to side, trying to appease everyone. Coach seems to care more about people liking him, then actually winning the game.

I agree with another poster that Tyson should get more to say, he is a funny guy. I remember Courtney being almost as funny, it really bugs me that she has had almost nothing to say the whole season. I guess emphasis has been put on people like Coach, Russell, Boston Rob, and James, not always with good reason. I could use a few more lines from some of my survivor favorites then shot after shot of Coach meditating. A balance would be nice, and i’m sure many contestants are annoyed at home, watching the same few people take the spot light. I guess it justs bugs me that you brought all these great people back and they’re all being under used.

Besides that, this season has given something to watch every episode, only 5 in, but i think this could end up being the best overall season, that though will depend upon a good winner, someone who hasn’t won would be a huge plus!

  • K

Was a great episode when I saw James was hurt I thought it would just be a clean cut tribal council. I love Sandra to, and Im rooting for the Villains this time around, but I am liking JT this season as well. I wouldn’t risk your niece getting to close to James if she beats him in a race he might up and slap her..j/k

  • Anth

I think you might be giving James too much credit. He lucked out in having some friends on the tribe to start out with–the numbers are what’s kept him around; nothing else. Colby/Tom/Steph are all from a different era with a different style of play…Rupert is too but he’s always been a strategic buffoon whereas the other three are solid players.

I hope that the intense physical challenges are put to rest entirely–this show is above that. Thailand-style attack zone is fun; all-out brawls are not. And medical issues as a result of challenges have really gotten old; you never had those in the early seasons.

Speaking of the early seasons, I really miss the subtler storytelling they had. Now everything is underlined in the recap in such detail (and judgment) that you’re hit over the head with it…we’re smart viewers, we can tell that JT is being sneaky. We don’t need the recap telling us every week that he’s turning villainous, or that the heroes “selfishly” looked for the hidden idol. Let us make up our own minds!

  • Tonya

I for one was happy to see Tom go, I find him to be such an arrogant @sshole, one who pretends he is such a “good guy” but really is just a douche who thinks he knows better because he’s old. Hate him and would rather keep James around even if he is a crippled rageaholic.

    • The Curse of Winning

Agreed, Tom should have some humble pie. Just because he never lost a immunity challenge until this season doesn’t make him the odds-on-favorite.

    • TorontoTom

I think you have “Daddy Issues”…

      • Patricia

        Ha ha ha…

    • Pa Gal

Don’t be hating on “old”. Tom would’ve been the wiser move to keep around because of James’ injury.

      • Tonya

I agree, that was a stupid move on the tribes part – but I personally won’t be missing Tom :)

    • Nate

You’re the only one that feels that way because your dad didn’t want to pay for your heroine addiction.

      • Tonya

        How did you know? *SOB*

  • Miss M

I shouldn’t be, but I’m stunned AGAIN by what morons the Heroes are. Really? You’re losing challenges and you keep Rupert with a broken toe, and James in a splint? They deserve to lose. OMG love Boston Rob spearing the shark! Go Villians.

  • Cowcharge

Survivor: Villains vs. Geniuses. Ayuh Jeff, another dumba**ed decision by the “Heroes”. the Villains are moppin’ the floor with those guys, maybe you should have them do your living room floor while they’re at it? Turn Jerri upside down, instant mop!
I loved the whole exchange when you tried to whet their appetite with chocolate. Great slapdown of ole’ Tex. He was gettin’ way too big for his britches even for a Texan, and the whole steely-eyed macho thing was a joke, considering his performance in challenges. “Show” muscles built in a gym are no match for the well-coordinated muscles that come from work. Remember Rupert and that other big black guy in the hold-the-rope-with-a-basket-and teammate-on-the-other-end?

    • Cowcharge

Oh yeah, I also love the way you respond to the trolls on here. Tell ‘em off with a smile, hehehe.

      • Cowcharge

Oh yeah oh yeah, get rid of the stupid college basketball!

  • skitsketch

stephenie, randy get it on, too.

I hate spoilers, Sir Vivor. get lost, and gone.

  • tontzah

why there is so many puzzle challenges and not swiming. rob is just too good for puzzles and leading abilities. heroes are maybe average skills what comes to puzzles but thats obviously not enough.

not so exciting season anymore villains beat heroes so easily. lets hope villains lose next one so we could see battle rob vs russell

  • henry

Where is Tyson and Courtney? Two of the funniest contestants ever get shunned for the bullies James and Rupert?

This season is beginning to feel very mean-spirited.

    • Marc

Agree. Both are under the radar and need to get more in the action.

  • tma

Everyone keeps talking about keeping the tribe strong. The Heroes have dominated the strength part of all challenges. instead of debating who is stronger/weaker, they should whip up some make shift coconut puzzles and start trying to figure them out. Jeeze do they suck at puzzles. stength means nothing on this tribe. obviously.

  • TPM

Shouldnt Colby be spending his time looking for the immunity idol. It must be in play again he’s next if he doesn’t find it. Rob against Russel should be classic. They should have a secret alliance and run the deck

    • Pa Gal

Never gonna happen. Rob might be willing but Russell is too arrogant.

      • Cowcharge

I don’t think you’ll ever see an idol that’s as easy to find as the ones during Russell’s season. There’s no way he could have found that one with no clue, and the new one’s probably also buried.

  • madduxfan

I think JT voted out of guilt this week..went with the smart move last week, not so much this week. Couldn’t do it two times in a row?? I am sorry to say I missed the season Rupert was on, but I am having a hard time figuring out what is so great about him. Why not send him home??? Jeff, perfect blog!!!

    • DML

I missed Rupert’s season too and am also hard pressed to see what people like about him. Dumb as a post from what I can tell, and not good in challenges.

And if Jeff knows that last night’s tribal vote was based on alliances and not keeping the tribe strong, then why were his last words after tribal, and I paraphrase’, ‘It is clear you are trying to keep your tribe strong’. Maybe he meant alliance-strong and not real strength.

I look forward to see what remains of these ‘heroes’ picked off by the villains after the merge. They are too dumb to survive.

      • Cowcharge

Rupert was a few years younger back then. He got popular in his first episode, during the first challenge, in which the two teams were required to barter with villagers for whatever they could get for their camp. Rupert stole all the other team’s shoes out of their raft and sold them to the villagers, lol. It was Pearl Islands, with a piratical theme, and Rupert was charmingly playing pirate. By the way, he took the million bucks that he got for viewers voting him most popular, and created a teen-mentoring charity with it.

      • madduxfan

I knew the part about his charity, but as far as his game playing now, I don’t get it. Is it because people don’t take him seriously as a threat at this point? An easy alliance vote?? Let me just say I feel his effort at challenges and at camp appear less than stellar.

    • Shopgirl

Rupert is making me think of some of my elderly uncles who were great fun when they were younger, but have become crotchety as they’ve aged. So happy he is doing good work to help people, but it seems like he’s lost his spirit. Loved him before, so disappointed now.

  • Jennifer

Horrible decision!!! It won’t be long before the entire Heroes tribe is gone!
    Another brilliant blog Jeff :)
