supes vs luthor, luthor wins

bats vs joker, batman wins
supes vs luthor, luthor wins
the only bats gonna get beat is the crims get damned lucky
Chuck Norris.
there is no debate, given the fact batman is just an ordinary bloke dressed up like a bat, that anyone on the end of a sniper rifle could take him out by shooting him in the face, and with the fact he’s a mere mortal his hero period would only last a few years who’s he gonna beat up when he’s sixty. so superman all the way
You havent been reading the comix lately. Batman has been Sniped (Joker, Deadshot, etc)and as for old age, take my word, Aint going to be an issue. He will be in better shape than anyone a tenth of his age. Besides he probabaly has a Lazarus Pit stashed away in the batcave anyway.
They are mirror opposites. You cant have one without the other. One is light, one is dark…both are cool. I prefer Batman as a character, but I sport a Superman tattoo on my arm.
Buffy wins
Tuché
Old-school Batman from the 1960s…now just release it on DVD after the parties settle their differences.
They top any Marvel superhero.
Batman kick superman’s ass anytime!
I miss Robin/Superboy.
Here’s the way I’ve always heard it: Batman would win a fight because he would be willing to do whatever it took to defeat Superman. Meanwhile, Superman is too moral to fight dirty.
I’ve also heard it said that the difference between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne is that Clark is the real identity and Superman is his vehicle for being a do-gooder. On the other hand, Batman is the real identity while Bruce Wayne serves as a cover.
You have that backwards…. Clark Kent is Superman’s cover, and Batman is Bruce Wayne’s cover. Superman was born Superman – he posed as Clark Kent to fit in with humans on earth. Bruce Wayne was born Bruce Wayne – he uses Batman as a cover to fight crime anonymously.
um, no. Its not decided. Its a debate in the Superman community. If you’re going to use that argument you’d have to say Kal-el is the real identity and Superman and Clark are BOTH covers
Superman. All. The. Way.
I think that Batman is more interesting as a character because he’s human and can be killed just as easily as anyone else (Superman has only one weakness, and it’s not like you can pick up some Kryptonite at the local grocery store). But, as far as who could win in a fight? Superman would whoop Batman’s ass everytime. No debate needed concerning that issue!
Batman Batman Batman. Superman is not a bad character but I think Batman is a lot more interesting, a lot more easier to relate to and… cooler. ^^
Oh, and I totally forgot to add. Their stories !! I like Batman comics (and cartoons, and movies – except of course Schumacher’s catastrophes but hey) better because Batman’s rogue gallery simply is the best while except for Lex Luthor (I have to admit one of the best comics villains) every Superman’s villains are too “supernatural” to be as interesting.
i have to say Superman. Batman definatly is the more edgy and resourceful hero , he has no super powers and is a billionare who chose to fight crime, but Superman is the definative superhero. Superman is an alien from another planet , who if he wanted to, could be a tyrant , but decides to use his amazing powers for good , and morally i would have to say he trumps Batman too. The guy is squecky clean and always makes the responsible decision. I guess you could say Batman is more interesting cause he has a dark side to him , but personally i think Clark Kents dilemmas and daily struggles are more fascinating. So basically Superman trumps.
I wrote an entire essay on this. Wish i could post it. Superman is far, far superior.
