Batman won’t even touch Superman
And whats with the kryptonite? duh most can beat Superman with it
batman will win… because he can cheat… while superman relies on his power… batman is busy strategizing the most badass big time plan ever… which include manipulating all of supermans arch enemies (luthor, darkseid, brainiac, etc) other superheroes and maybe even superman himself without him even realizing it… to accomplish the plan of defeating superman… this is how batman fights… superman fight battles batman fight wars… in a chess superman can be the queen piece, while batman is the chess player…
Wait a sec… I do recall superman giving batman the kryptonite ring that Lex Luthor had. Batman was the only one he trusted with it. If Batman were a backstabber, or if Superman went Rogue… Can’t batman just use the ring to weaken him, and snap his neck?
Technically…yes. However, Superman is indestructible. So, as soon as the Kryptonite was away from him and the Sun regenerated him, Superman would be back to normal.
Um, I think you’re all overthinking this and thinking way too far outside the box. My 6th grade teacher taught me “K.I.S.S.” “KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!” Batman is human. One gunshot to the head (preferably from a distance further than the radius of kryptonite’s radiation, and Bruce Wayne is down for the count. Period.

ok I need someone’s help here – there’s a comic from the late 50′s or early 60′s where Superman and Batman had a sort of battle of wits, Batman ends up letting Superman win because he’s becoming frustrated…can anyone tell me which comic that would have been it?
You fools. Once Superman (or any kryptonian) is exposed to yellow sun, krytonite DOES become deadly to him! Batman FTW with his Kryptonite ring. No argument.
In terms of who can beat who, I agree that Superman would probably win. But that’s more of the whole he’s been made I destructible thing. And the indestructible part I actually find a weakness. He doesn’t have a way to be defeated really. Kryptonite. That’s about it. And he comes off as having not much character depth. Sure back when he was first created he had a nice back story but I don’t think they ever really built much off of that. And besides I count Batman at Wolverine level. He has a dark side, character depth, weaknesses (I mean come on he’s pretty much just a random guy in a suit), and by far some of the best villains. A la Harleen Quinzel, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Bane and of course the Joker.
Batman would win because he was named the most dangerous man alive in dc comics by superman.A good example,you could kick superman in the balls with kryptonite he won’t do anything.Now if you kick batman in the balls he would break that leg.Besides batman beat superman in both scenarios with & without kryptonite.I mean batman has every heroes weakness including wonder woman’s & superman’s included.
Not sure if anyone else has addressed this, but it’s not asking for a fight to the death, or anything, it’s just inquiring a fight… I’m not saying who’d win, because even I’m not sure. I haven’t read either of the comics to the point where I know enough about the both of them to say who’d best the other in a fight.

Superman is the ultimate superhero. Batman is just a rich human being. And I don’t think the Superman movies sucked! I loved them! Christoper Reeve was an awesome Superman! Brandon Routh did a good job and Superman Returns AND there’s going to be a new Superman movie coming soon.
