Andrew over Alex, seriously? Andrew sounds like the male version of Katie Perry. Alex should have stayed.
Wow. If this doesn’t ring the death knell of Idol, I dunno what does. I might keep watching for Crystal and Siobhan. Maybe.
Trauma-tainment. Fox provides us with trauma as entertainment every night on the news. So, it’s not a surprise that they offer us trauma as entertainment everywhere they can: reality television, talk shows, TV dramas, the news. This show says more about us than it says about the performers, the judges or the sponsors.
I am glad that I missed most of the show. I saw the last five mins. Big Mike and Crystal seem to be the two to beat and the judges keep telling them all that the song is good, Dawg or Wrong song. What a pathetic judge situation.

The look on the judges, contestants and audiences faces says it all, a terrible crime was committed last night, actual souls were raped and murdered. I think I will follow Simon’s lead… cya Idol!!!
are u kidding me? the top 12 are so wrong. the best people are eliminated. alex lambert and katelyn are great singer. i just dun feel like watching the show anymore. what’s the point? some of the singers left in the show are not even good enough compare to those who have been eliminated.
I was really sad when Alex Lambert was not put through. I’m not saying that Garcia wasn’t talented, but judging by last week’s performances and Alex’s improvements, I really want to see more of him. The poor boy hasn’t has his ‘moment’ yet, so america should’ve given him a chance.. I think Casey/Garcia should’ve been put out instead of him. Meh, Garcia has too big of a fanbase for potential singers like Alex to squeeze through.
And Paige Miles getting through instead of Lilly Scott is just BS.. I completely agree with Lilly – what the hell does america want? I’m puzzled too help me out. Who wouldn’t fall in love with Lilly’s style? Authentic, alluring. Paige is even worse than Tim’s first week performance. UGH this is the elimination round which I absolutely HATED .v.

Last night was rough!! I was totally sad and pissed all at the same time!!
First of all America is absolutely DUMB!! Casey, Aaron, Paige, and Katie should have hit the road. I personally think that Katelyn, Todrick, Alex, & Lilly were 4 of the most talented people in the Top 24. If anyone Alex and Lilly. Alex to me was one of the most unique voices. His nerves actually made me like him more b/c he wasn’t fake and trying to pretend that he wasn’t nervous. He admitted it. I have been dissapointed over and over again with this season. I felt a lot better about it this Top 16 week b/c I finally felt like I was watching American Idol and a competition again. Now all of my hopes have been shattered. Now there ARE some REALLY good people in the Top 12 so let’s just hope that from here out American gets it right and gets rid of the riff raf and put the REAL talent through.

Idol is so dull this year the only reason I watched was to hear Alex, Crystal and Lilly. I feel like I’m in the “Twilight Zone”. Hope to see Alex again, what a great kid….
Great article, I soooo couldn’t agree more. It’s pretty bad when the best talent is going home. There are a few I like, crystal 1st of course, but I’m very dissapointed in Idol. Actually I’m dissapointed in the viewers, but it seems Idol could have done something with there best talent going home. I loved all 4, but the worst was Alex and Lilly…UNBELIEVABLE
