I love a good Downfall video (like this Conan one from January), and this analysis of the current season of Chuck is actually pretty spot-on. Warning, some salty subtitles ahead:
I get that Shaw is smokin’ hot and that Sarah’s concerned that Chuck’s spy skills will destroy his emotional literacy, but holy balls I am ready for those two to just get together already. Enough is enough.
Okay, Chucklers, let ‘er rip: Aren’t you tired of the artificial obstacles in the way of this inevitable pairing? Isn’t it time for them to just figure it out already?

Yes, I’m ready for them to work it out but at the same time aren’t happy endings for the…end?
Not necessarily, Robert Pattinson’s character dies on 9/11 in the end of “Remember Me”
SPOILER ALERT!
Not that I care, I’m not going to see that crap anyways. lol.
Wow, I mean I have no desire to see the movie but you can’t just be saying that without warning people first, it is kind of messed up
Not that I care regarding this spoiler, but some twihard is going to hand you your ass. Oh the humanity!
Holyshi- Dumbledore dies?!
This douche has been posting this on like every comment page!
I MISS HANNAH!
BRING KREUK BACK!
Maybe cause I’m late to the party, but I’m not as peeved as all the old school Chucksters: I think there’s something up with Shaw and Sarah knows it, so she’s trying to protect Chuck.
Its kind of the same with Booth and Brennan on “Bones” – once they get together, then what?
I, Captain Asia, agree, look at what happened to Cheers, it got in a rut after Sam and Diane started to date. I hope Fringe avoids this. By the way, Robert Pattinson’s character dies on 9/11 in the end of “Remember Me”
You’re out of your mind. Maybe something is up with Shaw but Sarah is completely clueless as always.
The only problem with this video is that the maker forgot the show’s 3rd season run was upped to 19 episodes. Besides that this is hilarious.
That was so spot on and hilarious!
Love “Chuck.” This past episode was the best so far this season. “Chuck” is a lot more interesting now that Morgan knows Chuck’s secret. This series is getting ready to explode.
Genius. That was pretty much my response to the last few eps of Chuck as well!
Didn’t anyone catch the chemistry Chuck had with Hannah? Kristen Kreuk really got screwed the worst because she was a likable character in a thankless role because of all this b.s. backlash from “fans?”. Doesn’t anyone remember “Moonlighting”? That show was one of the best written and funniest spy shows on television (which “Chuck” really isn’t), until David and Maddie hooked up, and then BOOM it was completely unwatchable. It made “Moonlighting” syonymous with killing your show by putting your leads in a sexual relationship. A Sarah/Chuck hook up will KILL this show and just be done to service idiot fans. Which really seems to belabor the point that Josh Schwartz has no idea how to keep a show going. If Chuck has grown up than why keep servicing the schoolboy crush part of the show?
Moonlighting was somewhat funny, but Chuck kicks its ass!!
I’m so sick of the Moonlighting example. All that proves is the writers of that show couldn’t think of anything interesting to do once they were together. Look at all the shows that begin with couples already together and manage just fine to find the drama and comedy in coupledom. So you’ll no longer be able to wring sexual tension out of them. That’s better than having her say they can’t be together because he’s now a spy and then have her start hooking up with Routh’s spy. Does that make sense? I love the show, but agree…get them together and then be creative with them as a couple who are also spies.
It wasn’t even that the writers couldn’t think of anything for David and Maddy to do. It was that Cybill Shepard got pregnant, so they had to do six months of episodes where they broke up and she only appeared at the other end of the phone.
And instead of being witty can charming they brooded, and the show concentrated on minor characters who weren’t interesting enough for the amount of time they were spending onscreen. Sound familiar?
Maybe the real Moonlighting curse is that shows that make themselves about dragging out the sexual tension to absurd extremes end up just like Moonlighting.
HAHA I love this!
This was pretty good. Chuck and Sarah will be together by the end of the season. Everyone knows it, the producers have pretty much acknowledged it. In the mean time there is a lot of story to be told and it is being handled very well for the most part.
