Katie is awful! She’s like the gal that’s great in her high school talent show but that’s all. She’s off-key, sort of cocky and overall not a pop singer.
Siobhan is my favorite. She can reach “that note” and she can sing a capella softly and beautifully. Christal is very talented and has great voice, but she is too dowdy and what’s with those squinted eyes and drab clothes?
Oh, one more thing: Christal has a great chance to win, she is from OH after all. And don’t underestimate Lacey either, isn’t she from TX?
Katie Stevens has a great voice, and I think she knows what kind of music she wants to sing…but they won’t let her (too young, they say). Maybe. She has a mature voice and likes mature sounding songs. Is that her fault? No one screamed at Jordan Sparks for the song choices she made when she was 17. Katie should have waited a couple years before trying out. The judges are really hard on the younger ones. I fear she is on her way out.
How could Paige sing “Smile” and never smile once during the song? WHAT was she thinking of??! And, Lilly Scott is just a cutsie little airhead who reminds me of Season 5′s Kellie Pickler. Got to go! And…Didi Benami…BORING/No stage presence. Also, if the judges would let Katie Stevens sing what she wants, she would be great. Why do they bug her, but never said a word to Jordan Sparks in Season 6? She also was 17. Love Crystal though…she grows on you.
Crystal made me feel like Adam made me feel….soulful, wise, and terrific.

It doesn’t matter what the songs are that Crystal is singing – she’ll have to change it up once they start doing their “theme” weeks – but she is the one with the most natural raw talent — I don’t think she could hit a bad note if she tried –
I don’t know what is wrong with everyone. I think Siobhan is one of the worst singers I have ever heard on this show. She is not impressive and she annoys the heck out of me.
Paige and Lacey should go based on all 3 performances. Katie’s been getting and listening to horrible feedback. If this girl gets another chance she may knock one out of the park.
Ok…for you Crystal Haters…can you sing? Do you know anything about music besides listening to it on the radio? Crystal Bowersox is the only femal contestant worthy of moving on. Obviously she doesn’t have the popular “pretty girl” vote, which in my opinion is a immature way of looking at a contestant, sorta highschoolish. However this girl has NATURAL talent…if you can’t see that and appreciate it as the truth…then you know nothing about music!
I don’t get it when the judges say the this is the strongest bunch of girls so far…What is America listening to?I like CRYSTAL and I hope that she gets really far koz she’s the best contestant this year but as good and unique as she is I do not believe she has the brilliance of some of the former contestants or winners that we had in the past especially season one TAMYRA GRAY or KELLY and later FANTASIA LATOYA and MELINDA.Those girls especially TAMYRA were breathtaking when they performed.
The guys don’t have it this year that’s all.
Most performances are robotic,lack swagger and confidence,there is way too many guitars…The most boring season ever koz none of these contestants really stands out.
Lacey and Katelyn are not that bad. I like both of thier voice. As for the guys, Andrew Garcia and Big Mike are the best.
