I think this dress is inappropriate for Hilary Swank, who is usually much classier than this. It’s desperate, and makes me think she needs attantion for some deep-seated personal insecurity reason.

Well, this clearly is her ploy to get attention. It’s really no secret that Hollywood doesn’t quite know what to do with her, even with her two oscar wins. She it tough to cast. Her most recent effort Amelia was a disapointment all around, so maybe this is her attempt to remind people she is still around and to shake up the collective impressions of her. I can’t say I really respect the approach, but I can’t say I blame her. Oh, and I don’t mind the dress being revealing but I do sorta mind it’s so damn ugly.
I completely forgot about Amelia. Wow, what a bust. Agreed on the ugliness of this dress. I can deal with a deep-V… but it makes her look strangely misproportioned.
Tacky, tacky, tacky. And frankly, she’s way too old to wear that dress, she comes across as trying WAY too hard. Ick.
I think she wore this to distract people from her mouth and teeth.

I would have voted no before seeing this outfit, now I’m not so sure. Her hair, makeup, and yes, her tatas look amazing.

Looks like an “up yours” gown to me. Or maybe she & her guy were going to conceive a baby last night. I remember Toni Braxton’s very revealing bandage gown from the 2001 Grammies – nine months later, her first baby was born.
