“Poor choices”? HE DIDN’T MAKE CLOTHES! You know, the things, people wear and stuff.

He knew in the hardware store he couldn’t turn this into anything. That’s not a “poor choice”. That’s stupidly resting on one’s laurels.

You know I live on the west coast so all these shows like Project Runway and American Idol have already been viewed three hours earlier on the East Coast. So you know what I do? I DON’T GO ONLINE TO WEBSITES THAT COVER THOSE SHOWS AND WILL HAVE THE RESULTS. Now, this is nothing at all like what you people are complaining about. You are complaining that on Friday the results of a show that aired on Thursday are on entertainment websites’ home pages. This to me is ridiculous. Why would you come to this website if you hadn’t seen last nights project runway, american idol, lost, or whatever else, if you weren’t 100% willing to risk having something spoiled for you. I think the problem is the people who are complaining, not Entertainment Weekly.

His run was improving, though. In the previous challenge, “A Little Bit of Fashion,” the judges really liked both of his designs, with Kors particularly liking the coat. If Anthony’s win was the only thing that kept him around, then they should say so.

I personally think any designer who snootily proclaims, after hearing the challenge parameters, that they don’t “do” that sort of thing should be immediately eliminated. I am so sick of hearing Emilio kvetch about how he doesn’t “do” burlap, hardware or even kids’ clothes. If you aren’t up to the challenge of working with unorthodox materials, then what the hell are you doing on Project Runway??? Jesse should have stayed, and here’s why: he started the season fairly weak, flirted with the bottom a time or two, but I think he was actually improving. And even though Emilio started strong, he’s not improving.

Honestly, Jesse was just an underpreformer for the whole season. His look was not the worst (perhaps third or fourth worst), but it was *another* weak showing in a run that was not improving. Emilio’s string was easily one of the worst things every to (dis)grace the Project runway, but he’s done other great stuff, and he’s been consistently better than most on previous shows. The decision had been pretty much down to Anthony and Jesse, but Anthony has been showing signs of growth and improvement.

I was amazed at what all of them were able to do with hardware. Even Emilio had a good idea, just couldn’t execute it. I agree he really should have been the one to go home. Sometimes the bias of the judges is obvious. I thought they all did an amazing job, though.

I like Emilio. He won the very first challenge with a beautiful dress. This time around he just made poor choices with his hardware. I’m glad he stayed.
