Last night, Jimmy Kimmel showed off “IMPREGN8ED,” a parody rap video he made with 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan (who’s making the rounds to plug Cop Out, his buddy comedy with Bruce Willis). Set to a bass-heavy club beat, the song’s basically an Auto-tuned ode to female fertility, with Tracy telling some club hotties that he’d like to get them knocked up. As unabashed Morgan fans, we’re a little sad to say it didn’t exactly have us rolling on the floor. It’s fun seeing Jimmy in full Lil Wayne gear, and the shots of Tracy and Jimmy as babies made us smile — but the rest just felt a little like an Andy Samberg B-side.
What do you think, PopWatchers? Am I being too harsh? Is “IMPREGN8ED” a bundle of comic rap joy?
I don’t know that I understood one word that Tracy Morgan said in that entire song.
I laughed…I think Tracy is sometimes too OTT, but it cracked me up…he is just so random in his interviews, too, that cracks me up. Did you see him on “Ellen”?…you could tell she wasn’t quite sure what he was going to come up with next, and was a bit on edge, but laughing. You can’t tell if he is high or just crazy!
As for Jimmy, his Ben Affleck video was funnier, but he is still funnier than 1000 Jay Lenos, cut the guy a break! And don’t get me started on Guillermo…especially when they insert him into real movies (via greenscreen I guess)…SO FUNNY!
The video was great. Jimmy Kimmel is my fav. He is always funny and creative. I prefer Jimmy & Craig Ferguson over all the others. As for T Morgan he is a bit out there. I dont get his humor but hey others do and he is successful for some reason. A few skits on SNL were good but that is all the talent I saw in him. He tries to hard to be funny especially on the talk shows and most often it is obvious the host is uncomfortable. Sometimes he needs to chill and be normal.
It was pretty funny! Not nearly as good as “On a Boat” by Andy Samberg and friends, but still noteworthy!

Tracey Morgan is a talentless scrub. How does he keep getting work? go figure. Don’t believe me, watch some clips of his new movie with Bruce Willis, Tracey ruins what could be a damn-funny film. Let’s all hope his 15 minutes are up!
