I like the fact that Kristen and Michael could disagree this week! They probably represent a bigger variety of opinions out there that way! I happen to like Janelle, we’ll see. Love Bowersox, expect great things. Agreed about Tyler Grady – ugly cute, love him! Bad boy quirky – we need one in the contest!!

I was so enthralled with her (Bowersox) talent that I didn’t even notice her teeth. Now all of you will have me staring at them. She is just so immensely talented, her voice is awesome and playing both the harmonica and the guitar just blows me away. Kind of a female Bob Dylan for this generation – only cuter. Her face and personality is adorable – she may not win because she is not enough mainstream for middle America but she is already a star.
Great show, Michael and Kristen! I don’t always agree with you, but you’re almost always a hoot. I’m not feeling Janelle at all, but who knows? I think big Mike is better than you give him credit for. Love Crystal and also Lilly who I don’t think got a mention here. I felt Angela got royally screwed. If she was as great a singer as Kara said (and I think she is), wouldn’t they want to put her through? And I’m not on the Tyler as-so-ugly-he’s-hot bus. I do think Casey has something. We’ll see how much.

Michael and Kristen, I definitely agree with the lack of viable black male contestants, but later in the competition, part of the problem may be in who is watching and voting…? As for Andrew Garcia, there’s nothing about his music not to like, but if they keep hyping his back story, he’s going to go the way of Danny Gokey. We don’t like being pushed. Right now, I’m liking several of the girls.
I rarely watch these videos because I have such a crappy, satellite internet connection… but for some reason I slogged on this time and had to say that I truly laughed out loud. Hysterical! Witty! Clever! Spot-on! Too fun! I’ve been asking for a transcript to be posted of all these videos for years, and although I still want one, I would’ve missed Kristen’s take on Mary Powers. Loved it!
Penalizing Bowersox because of yellow teeth? Puhleeeze.
How about season 5 when (one of my fave’s) Elliot Yamin came in with buckteeth spewing out everywhere and one week he sang and talked with a guarded (and very sore) mouth and THEN his teeth were perfect. AI = Star power can fix anything.
Wicked Idolatry as usual. I totally agree that it’s all about the Bowersox (don’t think I’m exaggerating to say most talented Idol contestant EVER) and the Garcia (don’t think I’m exaggerating to say best arrangement on Idol EVER), but I’m sorry, Casey IS really hot and he DID sound great on Bubbly. You just hate him because Kara likes him so much. ADMIT IT! (P.S. How did you totally miss the chance to make fun of Kara’s leg flip when she hugged him?)
I hope we see that “Hot N Cold” clip from Kristen all season. It makes me laugh so hard!

He is the first legit lead blues guitarist/lead singer on AI in the top 24 ever. He was hardly looking down at the guitar like he isn’t comfortable with it!!! Maybe he had just learned the chords in Bubbly!!!
