I love that Johnny now has “team Oksana Baiul” (coach Galena and Viktor Petrenko) on his side. It was fun to see them at the Olympics again.
Oh, and Torah Bright was amazing. Too bad she didn’t try the double cork though! She and Shaun White are definitely on another level from everyone else.
Olympic Stud of the day for me is Evan Lysacek. He beat the Russian! Amazing feat. I’m still kind of in shock. Wow!
I’m glad Evan beat out the Russian guy Plushenko. Evan had a good clean performance, and didn’t need the gimmicks to get him ahead. I’m talking about how Plushenko stood on the ice, just to shake his hips at the audience. Hello it’s called skating. Not to mention, he wasn’t totally there on his jumps, he was kind of tilting on them.
Go Torah! SLC pride!
i would totally read the live blog of the skeleton race! GO NOELLE!!!
Tora totalloy rocks the sport-great job!
I’ll read the skeleton blog. Hollingsworth FTW!!
Why are you calling a girl a stud? Only guys are studs,Torah’s a girl so she’d be a hot chick or something else but not a stud. WTSmurf?
Studette! She is so freakin’ cute too!
You can read the scorecards from the skating at http://www.vancouver2010.com/olympic-figure-skating/. It makes your heart hurt a little. Plushenko scored higher in interpretation than johnnie and basically equal to Evan. They are in no way equal. Plushenko jumps and that’s all he can do.
I watched the men’s figure skating for the sole reason of watching Johnny Weir’s beautiful skating. His scores were ridiculously low. The media hardly mentioned Jonny Weir, and a few things they did say sounded rather disparaging. There is nothing outrageous about him. He is a lovely young man.
where’s the hockey love? i nominate Sidney Crosby for not cracking under the pressure and getting Canada the win.
That was a really good goal!
Scott Moir. Go Team Canada!
