Sometimes it seems like Kristen Stewart is Michael Corleone in The Godfather: Part III: Just when she thinks she’s out of Twilight, it pulls her back in. Collider.com has posted a clip and transcript of two interviews with Stewart during a junket for her new movie The Yellow Handkerchief, an indie drama about an ex-con (William Hurt) who road trips with a…well, it doesn’t really matter, suffice it to say that Stewart’s in it and she’s out answering questions, so bring on the Breaking Dawn. In the video below she parries a query about Dawn going 3-D by deferring to her Handkerchief costar Eddie Redmayne. (Nicely played Kristen!) For the record, Redmayne thinks it would be “scary” and he and Stewart agree it would be “out there.”
In another interview Collider asks her about the reports that Dawn might get split into two movies. Though she doesn’t know for sure what the plan is, Stewart seemed to think it was a good idea, saying, “The story so completely warrants two films and it would suck to have to…it would be really disappointing to have to be able to just go, ‘Okay, we have to lose this sequence and this scene and this sequence and this scene.’ So I would like to do two movies but I really, to be perfectly honest, don’t know what they’re going to do.” Collider’s writer concludes by noting that, although he got 200 emails with Twilight-related questions, it’s a little impolite to ask them all at the Yellow Handkerchief press tour. Don’t worry though kids. There’s always the Runaways junket next month. Confession time: Who’s really interested in Yellow Handkerchief? And who’s just using Yellow Handkerchief to make friends with Twilight?

I am actually interested in Yellow Handkerchief. I would like to see KStew do more non Twilight stuff. She’s actually a decent actress when she isn’t pretending to be that punk Bella Swan.
I really want to believe that… But Bella ruined KStew for me.
KStew ruined Bella.
I’m sure that the studio behind The Yellow Hankerchief is simply using their female lead K-Stew’s portrayal as Isabella (Bella) Marie Swan in the successful Twilight Saga franchise to get the Twi-Hard’s out there to the box office & shame on them & shame on K-Stew for agreeing to be apart of it & wasn’t this (crappy independent) film ready for release in 2008 & why wait two years to release it & I’m sure that K-Stew could’ve taken time (one night) off her Twilight Saga commitments to attend a premiere say over a year ago. I’m looking forward to a new movie Remember Me (11th of March 2010, I’m counting the sleeps) with RPatz & Emilie De Ravin & they’ve got way better chemistry (simply have a look at the upcoming issue of Vouge, it’ll put the December 2009 issue of Harpers Bazzar to shame) than RPatz & K-Stew in the Twilight Saga & Emilie De Ravin is a glamour. What a bitter hag you are. You could say that Summit is doing the exact same thing with Remember Me and using the twihards to go watch their movie by tacking on the Eclipse trailer to their movie. Robert Pattinson will never get with you so try to control your blinding hatred of Kristen Stewart.
Summit says the trailer will come out online days before Remember me comes to theatres. The twi-hards only interested in Edward and all things twilight won’t have to go watch the movie because they would have already seen the trailer online.
I’m not sure but are you the real Justin Beiber & I’m not a bitter hag. XOXO Twilight Diaries Girl
STOP TALKING ABOUT TWILIGHT!
GOD! I want to hear about her new movies coming out! NOT TWILIGHT! Stupid reporters!
This movie THE YELLOW HANDKERCHIEF is an indie, a tiny little film. Made up of wonderful actors at the top of their game. Have you even seen it. It is beautifully filmed, and void of any pretenses. It got the best reviews out there. Twilight while i am a huge fan is a fun movie to watch. RM is aimed at a teen audience with a promo clip for Eclipse to help the tweens get in there. You can’t compare any of it. All 3 different films. And I think courtesy should have been given to Kristen’s co-star Eddie all the questions were about BD.
I guarantee Stewart is counting down the days to when she doesn’t have to talk about twilight anymore, she’s become a big enough name now, time to leave it behind.
twilight diaries girl
you could just have said you don’t like Kristen with Rob instead of justifying how remember me is better than anything kristen related eventhough its not even showing yet. if you like rob and emilie, go ahead. I don’t care who the sparkly one is being paired with but a friendly advice, if you don’t like kristen then don’t read articles about her. it will make your life much more easier and less danger for heart attack.
I’m sure she is fine with Twilight, the cast are extremely close if youknowwhatimsayin.
But it would be nice if they actually talked to her about the movie she is promoting. I guess Rob will have to do this for RM.
I love how the article is about how she can’t dodge the Twilight game, even when trying to promote OTHER movies, and yet EW only perpetuates the headache by playing the Twilight angle in the freakin’ headline. Stay classy, EW.
To twilight diaries girl.. you are so pathetic… you were in every site where articles about Kristen Stewart is.. If you don’t like her, why bother going to sites whee she is featured?.. i feel so sorry for you.. have your own life. and stop messing around with your stupid comments..
I was sympathetic toward her until she said Breaking Dawn needed to be two films. Not only is that blatantly idiotic, but it’s hard to feel sorry for someone who’s caught up in Twihard mania when they seem willing and ready to lengthen their plight.
^ This.
The entire point of the article appears to be to drum up some sympathy for Stewart (“Poor dear, always having to talk about Twilight”), but it’s hard to take it seriously when she says she wants Breaking Dawn to be two films. If it really was a traumatic and annoying as we’ve been led to believe, she’d be fighting tooth and nail to make one movie and be done with it.
She has to support what Summit says specially since Stephenie Meyer agreed to two.Who knows they might add some things to the script to warrant two.Lets give them the benefit of doubt as to whether the decision to make 2 movies out of BD would be great.
If not for the Twilight crap, no one would know who Pattinson and Stewart Lautner were. And EW would be out of business.
I can’t believe she thinks BD has enough plot to warrant two movies. There’s barely enough plot for one! BD needed some serious editing, and the amount of filler was ridiculous. Not only that, but it was also hated by a lot of the fandom, so two movies would be risky.
Did they not get that two-movie idea off Harry Potter? Ooh, Deathly Hallows is made into two movies – let’s do that, too! Come on!
Exactly. The Hobbit did the same thing, but it’s also produced by Warner Brothers.
Summit are just copy cats.
I am a Kristen fan and I don’t feel sorry for her. Kristen can take care of herself. Sure the media and paps are no doubt annoying, but what are you gonna do. She seems to be getting a handle on things. It’s just that it is ridiculous that she is at another film and that’s all these interviewers want to ask her.
she can refrain from saying anything about BD, say that they better talk about her indie movie instead.
“her new movie the yellow handkerchief an indie drama about an ex-con (William Hurt) who road trips with a…well, it doesn’t really matter, suffice it to say that Stewart’s in it ”
so the one important plot factor is that stewart is in it? what is this journalism?
