Loved the 2 hours, loved seeing all the players again….last season russel was the show, and he is kinda funny, but plays the game like no other…Russel all the way….

I think it should be 2 hours every week! It was WAY more fun and you get a better perspective on what’s happening. The Biggest Loser & American Idol have 2 hours every week…why can’t Survivor??

I’m loving the Coach/Jerri coupling! They are a match made in Heaven!

I’ll never understand why writers write “after the jump” when they really mean “in the next paragraph”. I know how people tend to use buzzwords they think are “hip” but… really?

it’s because on the main survivor page or on dalton’s main page only that first paragraph will appear….

I enjoyed the 2-hour show. And if they can pack the rest of ‘em with this much action, I’d be happy with 2-hour shows for the rest of the season!

Russell needs to change up his tactics. It worked well last season because no one knew him but now he is on a team of Russells and I don’t think his “trust me” line will work on this crew

Great fun last night! Think the heroes’ chickens were the ones Shambo lost last season? They are in the same location . . . hmmmm. Coach and Jerri — priceless! Had enough of Russell last season and really hope they don’t give him as much air time this season. As Richard Hatch said, you can’t be the best player ever if you didn’t win.

What an adrenaline pumping episode. I was on edge the whole time. It was fun to watch Coach and Jerri going at it but at the same time watching their back. Unlike that other pair Colby and Sugar what was uo with Sugar! Stalker!! Does anyone else feel that the survivors were just not having much fun? They looked so bored with each other at camp just sitting around not really talking just plain awkward and did you check out the whiteness on those teeth. I was watching on my big screen and man those white teeth were glaring. Russell seems like he was a bit of an outsider on the Villains side I mean everyone was gravitating towards Coach and Rob more than Russell. On the Heroes Tribe Rupert was just not himself it was kind of disappointing. Tribal Council was just spectacular. It was kind of weird how the heroes at tribal council had these really bloodshot eyes. Were they just tired? Some of them looked like they wanted to cry. And will the rain just snuff out their torch since their is no roof over their heads? Glad to see Cirie lived to see another day. Hopefully the heroes will get it together now that Sugar the weak player by far is gone. But I have to say I’m rooting for a Villain! Till next time!

I loved the two hours, there are plenty of interesting personalities this season to justify the longer air time (hint hint!)

Also, I knew the heroes were in trouble on the puzzle just by looking at who they left to do it. Not the brightest bulbs in the lamp, should have had Stephanie and/ or Tom on it since they already had plenty of muscle to handle the boat with Colby JT and James.

I thought Richard Hatch was to be in this season of Survivor. What happened? They wouldn’t let him leave the country?

    • JenR

Yup. He still has to report in to a parole officer I think.

Two hours was way too long! And please, these challenges are beyond ridiculous . . . why not just include nude female mud wrestling (that’s obviously what you want to do anyway)?

After 20 + hrs. & reading these different perspectives, it has dawned on me just how pathetic Russell is this time. It’s like he just bouncing around trying to get his bearings or something. (Can’t really find the right words.)I just hope when he watches himself this season that he is truely embarrassed at the image he projects. I’m embarressed for him!
Then Rupert! It’s like he’s lost his zest for the game. I love him, but if he doesn’t find his center soon I don’t see him lasting long. Cirie also seems to be missing something this time. Again, can’t put my “finger” on the right words.

No one here is showing any love for Amanda? She is my all time favourite and she really deserved to win. I know strategically she was never a powerhouse and thats why i sort of can admit parvatti deserved it last time. But honestly i feel for her now so much lol. If she makes it to the final 2 again I dont care who shes up against or how much better they played i am Amanda all the way this time lol. Also poor sugar love her but she was so in over her head
