Loved seeing Mac on the show the first time back in season 3, this time it was good to see him just because it showed some continuity with the others.
I thought Rob did great. The part was written very humorously. The character was able to speak for every silent, unappreciated ‘henchmen’ that’s ever been part of a big bad organization on a show. “You don’t ever remember me, do you?” Classic. What every henchmen would say had their roles even rated a spreaking part.
I have to agree with your assessment of Rob’s performance. I was literally stunned when I saw Rob talkin to Kate and I had question my own eyes and rewind my dvr to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. I was overjoyed to Mac on Lost as I am a huge fan on IASIP, being a Philly local. He was very funny and I have to say I was disappointed to see him get shot at the end of the episode.
Mac is one of my least favorite characters on ‘It’s Always Sunny’. Good job, Claire.
Here’s the original:
Last night’s episode sucked. Let’s get to the episode where the producers and writers start answering some questions already!
So awesome.
THANK YOU for pointing this out – when I saw Mac appear in the first 2 minutes of the show, I was like “Holy crap, I’m in an alternate TV universe in which It’s Always Sunny has crossed into Lost”. I hope, I hope, I hope that somehow Rob will incorporate this guest stint into It’s Always Sunny in Philly – I love that show. He did seem to be playing an alternate version of “mac” on Lost tonight though – and I’ll have to go back through my Season 2 or 3 DVDs to find him there, because I totally missed his bit part there!
hahaha Annie – I totally support the Charlie dying each episode like Kenny thing. Superb.
Lost is Lost. I watch it cuz I already wasted so much time, but I expect to be disappointed.
LOL Kat!!!!!
I saw a clip from later in the season where Hurley is wearing a dick towel. Oh sorry, Spoiler Alert.
I wasn’t really a big fan of Aldo having a COMPLETELY different personality then he did in season 3, but it’s no big deal.
What is Lost about?
Kate knocked out the Nightman again!
I’ve never seen ISAIP but I thought the dude was just another semi-obnoxious Other, which we’ve seen before, used to further the plot and then get killed. So, job well done! Moving on.
Someone mentioned that they didn’t like him having a completely different personality from the last time he appeared on the show. Well, I like to think that his character has evolved since then, off screen. He was knocked out like a chump before and now he’s bitter and has toughened up. Aldo’s not gonna take it anymore!
