We all enjoy playing armchair quarterback, right? Like me, I’m sure there are certain people you think don’t deserve to have been chosen to appear again on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. But whom do the players themselves think is overrated and hadn’t rightfully earned their place? Well, we asked them! Some were too nice and diplomatic to answer the question. Others (like Cirie, J.T., Sandra and Tyson) let it fly. And then there is Courtney, who gave an answer that only Courtney could give. Click on the video below to see for yourself. Sandra says JT. Ha! Sandra is awesome. JT says Jerri even though Jerri is an iconic player and the OG villainess. Cirie is right as always by saying Danielle and Candice. They are the ones that shouldn’t be anywhere near this game.
She’s an iconic *character* – not an iconic player, JDP. And this is coming from someone who loves Jerri. Otherwise, let’s be honest, she’s never been a great player. Not even a good one.
Fine character. I was using player the same way.
Sandra saying anyone but herself is hilarious, let alone one of the top 10 players of all time.
Sandra is the most entertaining winner ever. JT might make it in the top 16 or 17. I want a season of entertainment.
Seriously. Sandra is the biggest “WTH?!” moment for me. She is a terrible player and one of the worst winners EVER!
Have to agree, J.T may not be a big character but he played a terrific game and easy to like. Sandra on the other hand… well let’s try to figure out what would have happened if the final 3 in Pearl Islands was ANYONE other then Lil and Fairplay. Seriously why is this woman an All-star?
I love Sandra – One of my favourite people in one of my favourite seasons. Having Sandra there made up for the missing players – Yul, Bob and Yau Man. No one can say Sandra is not a good player because she was a fantastic player, she had an instinct to make all the right moves. Watch as she makes the right moves again.
Of course JT says Jerri. He has about as much personality as a paper clip. I’d take Jerri over him any day!
JT – unanimous jury vote, zero votes in tribal councils, he played both physical and social games. Perfect!
Excellent player who was horrendously boring to watch.
I agree with JDP – other than losing a tooth, he was boring to watch. And a lot of his success was b/c of Steven.
Agreed, JT will most definitely flop this season without Stephen there to tell him what to do next.
I can’t remember JT doing anything entertaining or memorable. Is he a good player? Sure. But how he ended up winning America’s favorite is beyond me.

Amanda-world peace? wow ..she is not incisive at all ..back to her old ways ..fail number 3 Amanda? it will be something to watch !
Amanda is great, One of my favorites. I guarentee she will be in the final (won’t win but will be there). Which is OK, as long as she stays on my TV in a bikini
Amanda is one of the best female players ever………until final tribal council. I have always liked her in the game. Hopefully she took speech classes so she doesn’t fumble by the end zone this time.
Courtney is excellent. I never thought I’d be a fan but throughout her season, she changed my mind… would love to see her take the big dough home.

I’d gladly check the video but like all videos here, I can’t see it. Probably a location thing. You should consider uploading them on youtube like cbs does so everyone can see them.

I thought it was either Jerri or Amanda.
Hate to say it, but Rupert. Love him, but he has no game. Yau-man was ALWAYS playing, Rupert got by on charm and skill, but no game face and always tipped his cards. And if Jerri can be outplayed by Colby, she doesn’t deserve to be there either.

I could’nt agree more.. I think he’s a horrible at puzzles. I mean take a glance back at 1st immunity challenge, He was completely clueless on how to even start the puzzle. Lets not talk about his physical He has two broken toes.. If you ask me hes an anchor for the hero tribe! Hes a great person though…
If anyone says Rupert is a great player, they are kidding themselves. I think everyone knows he’s just there because he is a popular character.
aww yau-man! my favorite ever!! too bad he isn’t back. he didn’t even get a real second chance when he was back for an all-stars b/c he was too well-liked. </3
oh sorry, okay, back to your original comment, yeah. Rupert is sooo overrated. never really liked him as much as everyone else. i didn’t find him endearing at all. i do not remember anything jerri did. i recognize her name and her face, but nothing else.

The whole show is overrated. Why do people watch stuff like this and American Idol and Biggest Loser and….
People watch Survivor for a lot of different reasons. I watch Survivor because it is a fascinating human experiment, one which can be repeated almost infinitely because humans are ultimately unpredictable. American Idol isn’t my favorite show, but I get that people watch it. The Biggest Loser is a really inspirational documented process of people taking their lives into their own hands.
The real question is why do people waste their time posting negative comments about shows they don’t even care about? Move on.

Seeing people interact who normally would never meet. They have to work together, vote each other off, all while gaining their vote in the end. I don’t like Biggest Loser or American Idol or The Bachelor for that matter, yuck – this is different.
Where does it say it’s for fans only? Ever hear of feedback? People have a right to let EW know that it doesn’t like certain coverage.
yeah but you don’t have a right to question why we we’re fans of the show. that’s up to us. it’s still a popular show. it deserves the coverage it gets. get the frig over it.

Gotta say – season hasn’t even started and I’m already sick of them! OVERKILL, people! Bringing back contestants for the THIRD TIME was a mistake. I don’t feel like I’ll learn any more about them then I already know. And, momre importantly, I don’t really want to know more!
A normal season with 20 unknowns would have been my preference…

I am going to have a hard time watching this because they have the nerve to label Candice a hero. The same person who ditched her team and threw her chances just so she could make snugglies with some meathead. She’s a hero to me only in the sense that she helped create the greatest underdog team in Survivor History (Yul, Ozzy, Becky and Sundra). She could be my most hated character ever.
I heard Candace and Sandra were switched at the last moment.
Sandra being labeled a Hero would be even WORSE!

Although I rooted for the fab four (Yul, Ozzy, Becky & Sandra), I have to admit that Candice was a very strong female player. That moment on the pole – when they couldn’t rip her off for the life of them – was classic. I think she has the potential to do very well if she plays her cards right.

JT is not overrated, he played a good game but he was BORING!!! I dont know why he is back. Sandra as always is the best and I think rupert is pretty overrated he have no game
