Bleh. I HATE, LOATHE, DETEST, CAN’T STAND The Notebook. That movie was terrible. But still better than Nights in Rodanthe and Message in a Bottle.
1. A Walk To Remember
2. Dear John
3. The Notebook
4. Nights in Rodanthe
5. Message in a Bottle (But mostly because I barely remember it)
A Walk to Remember is TERRIBLE. It’s actually unwatchable.
because that’s reality,. someone, in someway is gonna die,. Nicholas Sparks is one of the best writers this world could ever have,. for me my number 1 is Nights in Rodanthe, then the Notebook and A walk to remember, haven’t watched Dear John but I will this weekend.
As to the whatevs up there who hates Nicholas, what the hell are you doin in here, attention seeker, haha,. isn’t it quite obvious that all here are fans of him or if not, admires him in anyway., how could you be so …… =)
I was not a fan of dear John, at all. I went to see it, super excited because they were saying it was the next big romance movie… bleh. No development between the two main characters, and I despised the ending. I was all… I just paid how much to see this? Two hours of my life I’ll never get back xD. Channing and Amanda didn’t have the on-stage chemistry that they needed to over write the bleh factor. But I will agree with a lot of the other reviewers in saying that the father/son scene was EXCELLENT. I cried during that.
But yeah, for me it turned out to be more of a father/son movie, than a romance between John and Savannah.
