I love how you guys say everything i’m thinking!!! Except one thing, why aren’t you guys AMAZED at how they decided to give an extra night of mostly golden ticket winners?! C’mon, that in itself was such a shock to me!

I think that having a baby can make it really hard to achieve your dreams. It depends how much help and support you have from friends and family. If you don’t have anyone, it drains your time and energy. I’m not saying kids are not worth it – just that it’s not the same for everyone.
The live-karaoke-hostess-girl probably felt like she had to compromise her artistic ability by singing at corporate functions and so on. You know how some people feel that commercializing their art compromises their principles.
And they did ask some people to “dirty it up” last year as well – Alexis Grace and Kai Kalumna.

I can’t believe Megan Joy was picked over that woman. She sang great. I hope she makes it this year.
GREAT Idolatry! Annie B made me BUST out laughing when she imitated Avril Levigne’s hoodie horns! A few other thoughts came to mind with the clips shown: Does anybody else think Lee looks like Legacy from So You Think You Can Dance? That Lacey looks like a younger fresher version of Martina McBride? That “teddy bear” beefy Michael was a nicer-looking version doing Ruben Studdard’s shtick (stand still and sing; stick arm out in front. Stand still and sing more; stick other arm in out front). Also, I was finer with Casey removing shirt than with I was with listening to Haylee’s lisp. PS – Is Italian Nicci Nix a legal contestant? Thanks!
You forgot to mention that Simon didn’t like DeDe. I thought she was one of the best so far. Nicki Nix is not her real name and she’s been on a bunch of reality shows…….and she is sooo annoying.
Well, 8 audition shows in and I’ve still not had what I call a ‘Sundance Head’ moment(anyone remember him?!)I can’t really remember anyone I’ve seen- nobody stands out.However, I still love Idolatry- you’re all so funny, keep up the good work, and do an English accent again- it wasn’t as bad as you thought!
i think you mispronounced lee dewyze’s name. i disagree about nicci, i think she kind of stood out because of the girls aloud song. very poppy.
