I can’t wait for Ellen to join the judging panel. She is going to turn a season that I find boring into something that has potential to be entertaining and fun to watch. I’ve loved every season of Idol that I’ve ever seen but this year is struggling to hold my attention.

What qualifies Ellen DeGeneres as a judge for American Idol? Is that really the best the network could do? Can she sing? Does she have a music background? I don’t get it and it has really put a negative on the show.
I stopped watching AI since last year, but I had a guest visited me from out of town so I watched it. I think Simon was different last week. It seemed to me like Simon wasn’t so enthusiactic as before, like his feeling was not there anymore. Ellen…….meh!!! I lost my desire to watch AI anyway.
