I know the preamble to the Constitution thanks to Schoolhouse Rock.
I guess I was too old for the Animaniacs (born in 1970), when did it come out?
I still remember most of the SHR songs and I can still recite all 66 books of the Bible and all of the apostles thanks to the songs we used to sing in Sunday School and Jr. Worship at church. Both songs came in handy during religion classes in college and sometimes during “Jeopardy”!
I know the Presidents to another tune: the can-can song. Daaa da-da-da-da DA DA da-da-da-da DA DA etc. Hard to type, but the names fit for the most part. I also have a song for the Greek alphabet but I don’t think it’s to the tune of another song.
Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain’s Brainstem song, and School House Rock, totally.
I also forgot to mention Sesame Street song that just counted only up to 12. The Family Guy even spoofed it. “123-45-678-9-10-11-12!”
Does anyone remember the “Pump Your Blood” song that Potsie taught Fonzie on “Happy Days”?
