Going back to the original question: “Do you think the ad should be pulled?”
No. Why should it be pulled? It expresses a viewpoint that if people disagree with, they don’t have to watch it.
Further, who would have the authority to pull it and on what grounds?
This is great, the same people who talk about God, Life and Equal Rights have a history of attacking and murdering doctors.
The law in this country is that women have the right to choose. This ad, from all that I have read, is not aimed at changing this law. They are simply asking women to make a different choice. I think the pro-choice/pro-abortion faction is upset because how do you go on television and make aborting a life into a commercial? And I love the hypocrisy of some people. How can we as a socieity charge someone with two counts of murder when a pregnant woman is killed and not consider abortion murder?
For the record, I am pro-choice with limits. If the mother’s life is in danger or in cases of incest or rape, I think the mother sohuld have the right to choose. I don’t believe it should be used as a form of birth control. This is most likely something you could never police and would have to be left up to the individual’s decision. But I think it is sad for someone to treat human life, in any stage of development, so thoughtlessly and so carelessly. If you don’t want a baby, take measures to prevent yourself from getting pregnant.
So Focus on the Family will spend 2.5 million on a 30 second add to tell women to disregard their doctors’advice. Orphans, poor kids and homeless people will surely rejoice in Mr. Tebows’ loving affirmation of their lives.
It’s actually a great and useful piece of info. I’m glad that you simply shared this helpful information with us. Please keep us up to date like this. Thank you for sharing.
