Exclusive look at Stockard Channing and Dana Delany in 'Multiple Sarcasms'

Filed under: Movies and tagged: ,

EW.com has a sneak peek at Stockard Channing and Dana Delany in Multiple Sarcasms, an indie drama set in 1970s New York (see trailer here). They play the agent (Channing) and wife (Delany) of an unconventional writer (Timothy Hutton) whose new play is about the women in his life (who also include daughter played by India Ennenga and best friend played by Mira Sorvino). Brooks Branch’s indie film opens March 26.

Two quick thoughts: Timothy Hutton back in 1979– I can pretend it’s Ordinary People all over again! And judging from this photo, does Stockard Channing never age?

      I’d definitely hit that.

Nice cast – if the storyline & writing match the acting abilities, this could be a wonderful film.

Could be really great, but the voiceover on the trailer is TERRIBLE!!! They really should work on the marketing. You have that good of a cast, you don’t need a lot of BS.

I too can pretend it’s Ordinary People again! Much as I love Stockard Channing (and Aileen Quinn from Annie), I’m seeing this movie for Timothy Hutton.

God, talk about a kickass cast.

  • Lynny

Stockard is 66 and Dana is 54. You would never know by looking that they aren’t in the same age “box”.

Stockard Channing is one of our most underrated actresses and looks better with every passing year. I just hope she is used to full effect in this film.

I hope it opens in the boonies. It’ll be a long wait for the DVD, otherwise.

I love Dana Delany and Stockard Channing, I’m so happy to see that they’re in the same movie together! Can’t wait to see this!!
