Loved this episode. The part where Sheldon gets trapped by the electrified net had me crying!

Also, loved the ending when we figure out Wolowitz was the acquaintance! HILARIOUS!

I read a while back that Kaley and Johnny were dating. This was about 6 months to a year before their storyline took them that way in Big Bang. Don’t know if it’s true but they sure act cosy when I’ve been to see the tapings–which I have a couple of times. Still find the show hilarious although I agree it has become the Sheldon Show. Also like Leonard and Penny (no last name)together but they seem to be at a standstill story wise.
And finally, Jim Parsons deserved the Emmy last year and deserves it again this year. I like Alec Baldwin who is realy good on 30 Rock, but he doesn’t hold a candle to Mr. Parsons (in my humble opinion).

I think they still are…if they ever were, based on observations and implications.

Well… I don´t believe in those rumors in fact there was also a rumor about Kaley and Jim because they acted too “close” to each other in must of their interviews specially the ones in 2009 comicon, but at the end those are just rumors…

I agree that the show is becoming too Sheldon-centric. The first season was much better at telling stories about characters and less about making them into caricatures. Sheldon is hilarious, but they give him throw-away one liners and we lose the earnest believability of the character from the first season.

And I’m definitely pro-Leonard. If they keep writing less of him into the show people will get bored and stop watching; Leonard keeps the show grounded. They also haven’t explored Leonard’s “underachiever” status; that’s a comedy goldmine in the making.

I’m a little surprised to see people thinking the show is too Sheldon-centric. He’s the main reason I watch, so as far as I’m concerned, there can never be too much. I do agree Leonard is sort of just there. It would be better if they actually made him act as a friend to Sheldon once in a while (like back when the show began), instead of always acting as if being around Sheldon is this great trial.

But being around Sheldon IS this great trial…

haha. Seriously, if anything they are ridiculously indulgent of Sheldon. I was actually a little sad they took Sheldon in this direction. If you go back to the very beginning of Season 1, Sheldon was actually more human and friendly with Leonard. Towards the end of the first season the writers made him increasingly anti-social and obnoxious.

Some people are so critical. I loved that last episode-the relationship, the mom-dad-son thing that got revisited-then I come on the internet and hear all this negative stuff. Pennard is not boring, Leonard is not irrelevant, and the episode was hilarious. That’s that.

  • Katey

L/P was so sweet in this ep…he was acting so subtly protective…it made me sigh of happiness.

  • Abby

I love the new “leonardandpenny” knock. ADORABLE!

  • Anna

    Gosh yes it was.

  • Charlie

I thought it was great how the main character of the horror movie Sheldon was watching was named Jim, and how he was yelling advice to “Jim.”

I think the writers are messing the train about the relationship between Penny and Leonard…nothing happens, never! its a bit boring, and is incredible how Penny (not in this episode especifically) have more importance than Leonard character sometimes when at the beginning was all “Sheldon and Leonard…his friends and his new sexy neighbour -listed in order of importance-” not “Sheldon, Sheldon, Sheldon…Penny and Sheldon, Penny and Sheldon…and Leonard saying something in the middle…”
:) For me its better this way, I LOVE the interaction between Sheldon and Penny, and I find Leonard and Penny too boring…but this happens cause the writers make me think and feel like this! Even the Leonard character use to like me a lot(obviously Sheldon is my fav one) but in this season I find him “out of place” and sometimes repetitive and not the sarcastic funny guy that he used to be.

SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH… :S I hope you undestand me, im lazy and i dont want to use a translator XD
