The writing still stinks….thats the problem. The opening monologue was horrible.
I did kinda like Laser Cats…because it was supposed to be over-the-top cheesy.
Jason Sudekis’s ESPN bits still kill me. The Brandy Snifter and Old TV were hilarious. Having never heard of them, The Ting Tings’ performance was a revelation. At first, I was turned off by a similarity to Gwen Stefani, but when they did the sound loop to build the song up at the end of “That’s Not My Name” I was blown away. They are great stage perfomers, too. It was far and away the highlight of the night for me. P.S. Even though it is played out, I still miss “Ooooooooh Whee…”
