Friday is upon us, PopWatchers, which always leads me to ask you the question: What movie are you going to see this weekend? The box-office glitterati are saying that this weekend should be swept — yet again! — by James Cameron’s Avatar, which just surpassed Lord of the Rings: Return of the King to become the second-highest-grossing movie of all time. But who are these people who are just now seeing Avatar in its fourth weekend? Hopefully not you, dear EW.com reader and entertainment junkie. Though better late than ever seeing what could be the biggest movie of all time, I suppose…
But, if you have indeed seen Avatar, there are lots of other options: Sherlock Holmes, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Daybreakers, and Leap Year are predicted to round out the box office’s top five this weekend. Or maybe you’re going to catch Michael Cera in his just-released movie Youth in Revolt? We wanna know. Tell us in the poll below!

up in the air and heart
Precious and Wild Heart
Fantastic M. Fox and Where the Wild things Are, I’ve already seen Avatar 3 times!
I hope everyone interested in seeing Where the Wild Things are doesn’t hold out for its video release…I can’t imagine some of that translating as well on the small screen.
You’ve seen it .. 3D times??!
Wild Heart.
I’m curious about Daybreakers.
Saw Avatar…don’t need to sit through that again. This weekend Crazy Heart came to town, so that’s where I’ll be.
I’m going to see The Princess and the Frog and Avatar.
The Princess and the Frog is a great movie. It’s not getting the recognition that it deserves.
I’m seeing Young Victoria…and hopefully Dr Parnassus as well!
Youth in Revolt
Me too!
Avatar…finally.
Yay! I win.
I know, I couldn’t hold it off any longer. I’m just going to start drinking now, maybe the lanky blue weirdos will be more endearing and less creepy if they’re blurry?
Not too much… you need to be sober enough to stand up and clap at the end.
Ah, yes…unfortunately, I had not forgotten that tiny detail. I don’t know who’s going to enjoy that more, you or my husband.
Nine, Up in the Air and The Blind Side…I’m behind due to the Holidays.
don’t waste your money on Nine…it was bad, very bad
Seriously, don’t bother with Nine.
I still haven’t seen Up in the Air so that is at the top of my list
Hopefully, I’ll finally get to check out Up In The Air… and if not, maybe to rent The Hurt Locker to see what all the fuss is.
I haven’t seen Avatar yet and won’t until this upcoming Thursday. Everytime I try to go see it, the theater is packed. Good for the movie, bad for me. I like my physical space.
Don’t know that I will make it this weekend, but if I do, there’s only one choice, Avatar for round three
Big movie weekend ahead for me: The Messenger, The Young Victoria, Bronson, and The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
